Yeah, i agree faux pax. If he was a cop and hooked up with a 16 or 17 year old girl to arrest her for like petty theft or theft without a weapon that seems like a bit much. And if he talked her into doing some greater crime, theft with a weapon and then had her arrested that is a bit much too. At least if he hooked up with her and got her pregnant while trying to convince her to do so.
That is an interesting idea with the ring. That would go along with the make an honest woman of her comment from the press release which is just really an odd turn of phrase. Though i think it seems like he gave her the watch and that she is not aware that it is stolen.
I just do think they need to be careful in whatever they make be a thing between the two of them. And i think crime gone wrong, Emma gets caught and Mystery guy gets away and doesn’t know what happened to her or about Henry is the best way to go.
Also the way he said, great name, made it seem like he thinks that Emma just made it up, like he made up his name. Though that is not actually true for Emma, i think it is true for Mystery Guy.
I think the imposter theory is a more then viable theory, but it is just a theory. I just can’t accept that the color of their clothing proves that they are Hook and Cora. Someone even mentioned Emma’s boots as being Hook like, but those are the same boots she has been wearing the entire season.
I just think that the color of clothing is much more about the nature of the scenes then about the idea that Emma and Snow are Hook and Cora. And i actually think that as best we can tell from the pictures it still seems like Emma to me. It certainly seems like Snow, crossing her arms, Charming stepping in front of her, Snow letting him, Snow helping Emma up when Regina tosses her.
I think it is simple. At the beginning of the episode Snow and Emma are in the Enchanted Forest with Mulan and Aurora and then at the end of the episode they are back in Storybrooke and Mulan and Aurora stay behind in the Enchanted Forest. I could see that.
Maybe the group are all on Hooks ship together. Though that seems odd, but seems likely in light of all the spoilers. Maybe the compass is leading them to something or to somewhere that can help them realm jump.
I really hope that they don’t connect everything that we know that Emma has to this guy. I mean we know that Emma’s bug has a connection to the guy. It seems like he is Henry’s father and the arrest. I don’t want her necklaces to also be connected. They should make a separate connection there. And for the tattoo. Separate connection.
I would find it really skeevy if mystery guy/Henry’s father was a cop. That he hooked up with a mark, got her pregnant, got her arrested, and just left her. For me there is no coming back from that for Emma. To hook up with her just to use her to stop her from robing. It isn’t like Emma was a harden criminal or anything. She was just stealing from people which is wrong, but it isn’t like she was part of a drug ring or killing people or a gang or anything. At least that all seems wildly unlikely.
They really have to be careful, if they want the father to be a character on the show, they need to make whatever he did not be too far. Though they seem to be trying to redeem Regina which is ridiculous in light of her mass murder, cursing the whole world thing, so maybe they will make the father that skeevy and pretend that Emma would ever get over it. I hope not though.
