Rumpel only seems to be sorry about what he did to Bae and not about what he has done to everybody else, everybody, so i don’t think he has reached the redeemed place for me.
[adrotate group="5"]LOL. We will see. I actually want the opposite. I want Regina to be redeemed and Rumpel to go down hard. Though it may be that both will be redeemed in the end.
I really just think the numbers dialed was just a weird editing thing. They like switched camera angles mid dial and i really think it doesn’t mean anything.
Well even if he wants Emma to believe and help him just so that he can be with his father that still seems selfish to me. I just didn’t think much of August after this episode. He has always seemed like a shady character anyways and this weeks episode just made him more so. I actually didn’t like that August was hanging out with Henry having Henry help him distract Gold. That seemed all kinds of shady because we just don’t know enough about him that i want Henry hanging out with him alone.
I think that Rumpel became more powerful because he made more people afraid of him. I don’t think that his actual magical power became more. I think that he was able to get more stuff by making people afraid of him with his power and by doing his bad deals with people.
Well i said he doesn’t seem to do good not that he doesn’t do anything that seems good. I don’t care if he wants to protect his son. You can’t just kill people. You can’t turn a guy into a snail and kill him because your son fell over and scrapped his knee. You can’t kill your maid because she might have heard the tail end of a conversation about a knife. You can’t create a curse that dooms everyone in your world to an unhappy existence just so you can find your son and be called good. Rumpel is not a good character, in my opinion.
Rumpel wanted power when he was just a man. He was a coward when he was just a man. And he was a murderer when he was just a man. And he is still that same man now that he is the dark one and it is not good.
Regina does not seem to be impeding Rumpel’s efforts. I think that whatever Rumpel is doing has to do with Emma and that Rumpel is only getting rid of Regina because she is causing problems for Emma and not because he cares about Regina. At least what we have seen so far does not seem to suggest that Rumpel cares at all about beating Regina just that he wants her to not cause problems for him.
I don’t know how honorable i consider August after yesterdays episode. I mean he doesn’t seem to care whether or not everyone believes for the sake of everyone else. He only seems to care about Emma believing so that she can help him with his sickness.
I don’t think Rumpel’s power grew in Storybrooke. I think that the first day the curse happened he had the power he has now and nothing changed until Emma came into town.
