ParticipantExactly. You could hop through the hat when you need medicine or want to go to college. Hop back for weekends and holidays and summer. And why have a job when you could be a princess in fairytale land? I would do that.

ParticipantI am really not passing judgment easily. I just don’t see what Rumpel has done that is good, trading babies, killing people, and especially if he is the causer of the curse. I don’t really want to talk about Rumpel though. I am really trying to stay out of his thread because it just makes me not like the character. And i think the character is too interesting to not like him.
Emma lost her parents. Grew up alone and because of that she didn’t think that she could take care of Henry, so she gave him up too. Both Emma and Henry have been harmed by the curse, in my opinion.
And it really does seem to me like Regina and Rumpel are friendly enemies. Like they are never going to be real friends because they are people of power and they don’t have friends, but they are not exactly enemies either and know each other well. So what is between them? Just because Regina told Belle how to break the dark one curse on Rumpel? That doesn’t seem like enough to me either. If they are going to be some sort of ultimate enemies like Harry vs Voldemort then there has to be more to it then this.

ParticipantI wouldn’t mind August dying either. I don’t really like the character all that much, but he has been better in the last few episodes. And i agree i would rather not see a romance between Emma and August. The character just seems so awkward and cryptic. I don’t understand why Emma would work with him when she knows so little about him.

ParticipantThanks though. It was driving me crazy,

ParticipantEven if Rumpel’s goal is to get back his son, the way he is going about it is wrong. You can’t just harm everyone else to get what you want and then call it good. It still doesn’t seem like hate between Rumpel and Regina for me. At least they need to show what happened between them.

ParticipantMaybe when Emma tries to leave Jefferson pops out of the hat. Especially if it is still in her car. No evidence of that at all except Jefferson is in the episode and her car is sliding. Could be anything. Just a thought.

ParticipantYeah. There are a ton of photos of this scene. Here are two that shows the two extras.

I also don’t think that they would waste their time filming a scene like this. They like filmed for awhile doing all the different angles. Seems like a waste of time and resources.

ParticipantI just don’t think it looks like Emma either. Let me look for a picture. And i don’t think that looks like Jefferson at all.

ParticipantWell Emma told Henry to call her Emma in the conversation we are talking about. He wanted to call her mom, but she said just call me Emma. It is usually other people that refer to Regina as his mother. Henry usually calls her like She or even the Evil Queen though i think he has said my mom before, but not to her. I don’t think we have heard him call her anything to her face.
And Emma did all but say in True North that she wants Henry. She said to Hansel and Gretel’s father that the only reason she doesn’t have Henry is because she has no choice when they were talking at the garage. It seems pretty clear to me after that episode that she wants custody and wants him away from Regina.

ParticipantThank you Phee. I totally thought Titania and Oberon from Midsummer Night’s Dream and tried to search for the illustration, but couldn’t find it. And Shakespeare seemed strange to have in the book anyways so i just decided it must be some obscure fairytale that i don’t know. Thank you.
And thanks also mia for finding that story. It is again the golden bird. That story has been on multiple pages. It makes me think the book is changing, but maybe we just aren’t supposed to notice. It does seem like they are using the text as a place holder. They used the bit about Snow in her hideaway on more then one page and used this golden bird text on more then one page.
