I think that is right. That the reason Rumpel did not do the curse himself was because of the consequences in some way. That still doesn’t answer the question as to why he wanted the curse done. Also we know that the curse was passed around. The queen had it and then Maleficent had it, we don’t know if she used it or not, and then the queen took it back. When they first said that Maleficent had the dark curse i thought that they meant that what happened in the Disney movie where everyone goes to sleep and the prince is trapped for a thousand years and Maleficent reigns was what they were calling the dark curse. They changed what exactly the curse was making it be a curse that sent the characters to our world and made them forget, but i still wonder if Maleficent did the curse before in the past or tried to do it because we know she had it and she thought it was really horrible. I don’t know though.
I don’t think that Rumpel should be able to go back in time or that they should do time travel of any sort at least not and change things. It is possible that Bae was sent to the real world and Rumpel wanted the curse done so that he could get to the real world and get his son back. I think i like the stranger being Bae the most right now or i think Bae should just be dead.

That was such a great reference too in LOST. See you in another life, brother, because then Desmond was the one that saw them all together in another life and knew that they would all be at peace together because he would pop around in time and so he knew before.
I really hope there is no time travel in ONCE though. I like how Grumpy calls everyone sister.
I don’t think anyone built the town. I think the town just appeared when everyone moved from the fairytale land to the real world.
Maybe there is a bookstore for books, but that would not contain things like newspapers or the history of the town. Stuff like that. And maybe books are more out there now because of Henry being in town and now Emma. We can see that Henry must have effected Mary in some way because she gave Henry the book.
These photos made me wonder again about the kingdoms. We have Snow’s Father’s kingdom. King George’s Kingdom. Midas’ kingdom. Maleficent’s castle. Belle’s city. I am not sure about Cinderella and Thomas’ kingdom or if they are just a small city. And now we have Cora and Henry’s whatever it is, whether it is a city or what.
I just wonder how all the kingdoms are connected. Like is Snow’s father like the king over all or is there no king over all and there are just allied city states. It seems to me like Belle and Cinderella/Thomas like live under Snow and Charming’s kingdom. Though i am not sure about that. And no other kingdom came to help Belle in the Ogre Wars so i am not sure if they are under another king or just on their own unless that is part of Rumpel’s lands which i doubt also. I just wish they would talk about that a bit more.
As of now, i just think of each kingdom as like a city state and some are richer or stronger then others, but they all just live side by side and some are allies and some are not. Like George is trying to become allies with Midas through Kathryn and Charming’s marriage. Though it may be that in the future in fairytale land if Kathryn marries Frederick that they will become allies with Snow and Charming since Charming helped them. I just want to understand that a bit more.
That is a good point Nonnie. It does feel like that. The loss of information. The loss of the town records about the past. The collection of their history. That would be in a library, but none of that exists for them. I hope that the library comes into the story at some point. I wonder if there is something in there.
