I think Regina is shocked when Gold says please and now we know that is because he knows and didn’t want to tell who Emma was. I guess we have to think that the Queen knows very little about Emma. She knows that Snow had a girl and that the child was put into a wardrobe and disappeared. I don’t think she knows anything about the child coming back when she is 28. She knows that the child is supposed to save everyone from the curse. She doesn’t know that the child came to the real world.
I wonder why Rumpel told Regina about Emma at all? I just don’t know about his character. I guess he is just doing whatever seems fun at the moment. Though at the same time i think he has some sort of agenda. It is just so odd. At times it seems like he is working with Emma to try and get rid of the queen and yet at other times he seems to have no interest in her at all and just be pushing the queen away so that he can do whatever he wants without her bothering him.
I like the idea of Jack Sprat and the wife, but we may never see the characters again and that will be it.
I completely agree that the hitch in the theory is that Regina’s father does not seem like a king to me. I think that since it seems like whatever happened between Snow and Regina has something to do with the stable boy and the princess liking each other so Regina is a princess and her mother is a queen. Maybe like you said Regina’s mother had a child with Henry and he wasn’t the king or maybe the character is just different though i am not sure that quite makes sense because when the Queen killed Snow’s father, her father was working in the castle there as well. I think we just need a bit more information. It is a good theory though even if the story doesn’t quite follow the original Rumpel story it could be what the original story is based on.
I think maybe Ruby can’t transform into a wolf now, but maybe later on that will happen at some point. I like the idea that her hair or her red outfits are somehow a transfer of the protection of her cloak from the fairytale land.
I have never read the book, but the first time i saw Phantom i thought that they still implied that the Angel may be her father in that scene though it is very slight and quickly they let that go. It may be implied more heavily in the book.
I think that they just called Regina’s father a valet in the fairytale land at first because he sort of acts like a servant. They did that in the first press release i think for Ep 2 just to keep it a secret that he was her father. I think he is dead though and cannot be in the real world.
