ParticipantI agree with that also. The graveyard scene is probably the slowest part of the film and i have fast forwarded through it, but it is probably my least favorite song. Though that does go a bit long in the live versions as well. I just think sometimes from the point where they start doing the play to the end is so fast when you see it live. It is probably because i am used to the slower version in the film where they take dramatic pauses and they really let Christine belt out the song during the play and when they do it live it almost seems more like a fast jingle at times.
Still love it in any iteration.

ParticipantIt is such a great movie. They really did the songs very well. I liked how they slowed them down a bit especially the end which always seems a bit rushed when they do it live.

ParticipantIt is possible that Charming’s father may be someone important though. There could be an interesting back story. I wonder what they are going to do with the flashbacks next season. I still think they are going to end this season around the time that Snow eats the apple and is asleep in the coffin so maybe they will go a bit past that. There is still a lot of story there though so they could always go into the past and show Charming’s back story as a child. I think that they should make him the first James who switched with the James who switched with the James who died as a child and then when the other James died, Rumpel came to get Charming to take his place. Complicated, but interesting.
I also wonder if young Snow ever met young James as a child. Either the other prince James or our prince Charming. That seems possible.

ParticipantThere is this weird thing that if someone else posts while you are posting then the forum doesn’t automatically post your post. It like asks you if you still want to post it and you have to push yes. It is a little weird and i know i usually close the post very quickly after i think it has uploaded and therefore have not uploaded a bunch of posts properly because i didn’t push yes.
I think the Kansas connection is interesting and keep wondering if anything is going to come of it.

ParticipantDo you mean Charming’s real father?

ParticipantI definitely think it was supposed to be the gold fleece especially something about the way it was hanging on a branch. I just think they did something to it in post production to make it glow.

ParticipantI think that might be right. There are some pictures floating around from Ep 20, but since the forum isn’t up for that one yet i didn’t link them.

Maybe we could add a Ep, 19, 20, and 21 to the episode forums?

ParticipantI am glad we will learn more about why Gold helped the Queen do the curse because that is making the show not make sense to me because we don’t understand Gold’s motivation.

ParticipantI am glad that there has been some development in the character and it seems like we might get a bit more Emma and David scenes in the next episode now that she is looking into his connection with Kathryn’s disappearance.

ParticipantIt also makes me wonder how the curse picked the characters real world names. I mean we knew that they were related to who they were in the fairytale land, but if Snow used the name in the fairytale land it just makes me wonder more about how the names were chosen. It is just such a direct crossover. Like is Charming’s name really David.
That have just implied that names may be important so i wonder at some point whether they really will be or not.
