ParticipantIt’s Regina’s coronation.

ParticipantI, also, do not get how the coronation is going to make a bit of sense. Emma becoming queen would make sense, but Regina has always been considered the queen even though that never really made sense. Emma has always been the one in charge. Regina becoming queen again, i guess, just seems completely out of left field and i don’t really get it. It just feels like another stomp on Snow and Charming and Emma’s characters to me.

ParticipantThere was an interview where they were talking about the scene with the bug and Adam almost said it, but then he didn’t. That was always the ending.

ParticipantWell, the very premise of the show was ruined for Hook. That is probably going to continue right til the end. This is definitely one of those moments where if it was Bae and Henry it would make way more sense.
The wish realm really is a complete mess.

ParticipantAlso, to go into it more, the real problem is that these sort of issues are a symptom of the larger problems on the show. The writers don’t understand their characters. The characters are inconsistent from episode to episode. The timeline is shot. No one is thinking about anything as simple as what would Henry decide to wear and why would he decide that. There is not that little bit of depth to the character. It is that bad.
Sure, Henry looks nice, Emma looks nice, but if they were real people and made decisions about what they would want to wear, it wouldn’t be that. I don’t think Emma would ever wear something she couldn’t run in. I think that it would make a lot more sense for her to be wearing something more like what Charming is wearing. I’ve thought that ever since she first wore a dress in the fairytale land. Ever since they had those promo photos with Emma in Snow’s forest outfit wearing her jeans and boots and holding Charming’s sword. How did Emma never have her own sword?
The writers just don’t get what is interesting even a little bit. They don’t get how these creative choices really flesh out the characters and it is because they don’t think about how their characters think. They just do whatever they want to do based on what they want in their head instead of what the characters would do.
I think that with Henry, he has wanted to be a prince and a warrior and fight the good fight and that what he would choose to wear would be based on that. If the writers were actually writing for the characters then they would do what the characters would do regardless of whether or not that is what the writers want the characters to do.

ParticipantI hear you, but Henry is not a person. He’s a character on a tv show and in the very last episode we saw our young Henry wearing fairytale clothes in the Enchanted Forest 2. We know that Henry wore fairytale clothes all the way up till he met Ella and the ten years after that with Lucy. It is odd and feels it off character for him to wear that. It is a bad creative choice by the people who make the show.
Incidentally, I also find it extremely out of character for Emma to wear a big flowing white dress. I really can’t believe we never got to see Emma wearing an outfit like Snow’s forest outfit on the show. Emma’s wedding outfit was horrendously out of character.
Henry’s outfit is not that big of a deal, but I think that character has made the choice to live in the Enchanted Forest and an outfit in keeping with that choice would make sense.

ParticipantRight? Everyone else is all fairytale dress wearing. Even Emma. And there is Henry in a suit. Seems very odd to me. Henry at least lived in a fairytale land for ten years. Emma has lived in the real world most of her life and only done short visits to the Enchanted Forest. Henry looks nice, but i don’t really think it makes sense for him to be wearing that.
I wonder what the baby will be wearing. I wonder what Alice and Robyn will be wearing. I hope they are in the coronation scene. Well, not the baby, but Alice and Robyn.

ParticipantIn my opinion, Regina abused and neglected Henry and she has no business raising him. The writers may have rewritten Regina sometime during Season 2 and then again during Season 3 and said that it is okay, but they never showed it.
Regina has never been shown to be a good mother. The writers just have characters say it. It is unearned. If anything, Henry is constantly in the early seasons trying to stop Regina from killing his family members.
I like the new Regina that they are writing now after they rewrote the character, but there is very little relation between that character and the original murdering abusive psychopath in the early seasons. The writers want us to forget about that and most of the time i do because most of the time she isn’t around children, but then she is and i just can’t.

ParticipantMy only stipulation, though, would be that it has to be about both Belle and Nealfire. I’m really tired of them hammering Rumple wanting to get back to Belle and completely ignoring the Nealfire sized hole in the room (something the writers have successfully been doing for 4 years)
This. Them continuing to just talk about Rumpel getting back to Belle just keeps bringing up the huge mistake of getting rid of Bae and they keep saying it over and over again. Also, i forgot about Gideon, but Rumpel should care about his second son since he spent centuries trying to get back to his first son.

ParticipantI, also, agree that spending any time with Tiana and Naveen should just not have been a thing. I liked her whole wanting to help people thing by being the queen, but since the curse should have broken in the third or fifth episode, that was just a waste of time at this point.
Seeing the cupcake was nice, but there is no explanation for why fake Rumpel should be able to toss people into the wish realm.
Also, i do not believe for a second that anything besides Rumpel dying was planned since the beginning. The end of last season with Emma in Storybrooke in her bug was supposed to be the ending, but with Neal instead of Hook.
I thought that fake Hook would be dead from that blow to the head too.
