They said it was “our Regina”. That was really all that mattered. All of these questions are pointless. I guess does Henry remember his family is a good question. That means Henry has his memories in some way, even if it is just his childhood memories and not his adult ones.
[adrotate group="5"]Well the whole idea of marrying into a royal family is that the child from that marriage is then the heir or whatever and your family is then related to them by blood. I can’t imagine them going into all of that. At this point, i just don’t want the relationship to be offensive or as random as Red and Dorothy.
Yeah, i am definitely just thinking of it as a new show now. This is Ouat 2 and regular Ouat is over now. There seems to be no real connection anyways.
One of the worst parts of this show has always been the language. The way that they talk about happily ever afters and villains and heroes is just stupid. They could have had Henry talk about feeling restless and wanting to go out on his own without him using silly fairytale language. No one talks like that. No one thinks like that. The show did that all better in Season 1 when everyone talked more like real people.
Yeah, i think this is just pretty bad. The whole other realm thing is just dumb. I think that Regina needs to be Henry’s mother or there was no point in keeping the actor on. I am glad the first episode is about Henry even though he shouldn’t be the main character. We will see. I know, that i would be much less interested in this new show then i was when Ouat came out.
The biggest worry about this season is that everything will just be really offensive, not that the show hasn’t been, but i feel like they could go to a whole new level.
The book seems to be about a world were all possibilities happen at the same time somehow. I haven’t read it, just a little blurb.
I saw the supposedly older Henry is dressing like Hook floating around. I don’t know how they see that. Though, seriously, every time anyone wears leather it is somehow like Hook even though all the characters wear leather now and then and really is is Emma that is iconic for it.
Also, Henry is clearly being styled like the next prince charming which is a take of after Charming and like Neal with his average guy clothes. Henry is now the regular person going down the rabbit hole.
It made me feel better that someone said Hook is a grandpa now and Colin was surprised by this fact because it isn’t really real and we can hope it isn’t part of the show. Henry and Hook will probably be “friends”, but we can hope that is it.
Yeah, i think it makes sense that the villains are still going to act in some way like villains. That was one of the problems with the good guys in Storybrooke. They tried to pretend that they never did anything wrong and it just made them seem ridiculous because the good guys working with Regina, Rumpel, and Hook was wrong for a lot of people. At least now, the family connection between the bad guy and the good guys is cut because Lady Tremaine and Drizella were never really family to Cinderella. They were always the villains.
Though, if the writers decide to write it similar to how Regina was Snow’s stepmother then they might just “redeem” everyone again. That would be unfortunate. Sometimes it is okay to having a family feud that cannot be fixed.
Changing the subject, i wonder if they are going to show Henry ride his motorcycle towards Cinderella’s castle across the sandbar just like Charming did in the pilot. I think the chances of that are pretty high. Seriously, the comparisons between the new show and regular Ouat are extreme. It is almost like they are doing the same thing with different characters.
