ParticipantYeah, i am really hoping we don’t see Violet again. Henry shouldn’t still be with the first girl he dated. That just seems weird.

ParticipantReal Emma and Snow have always been my favorite. I am not sure if i am going to be able to watch this show without Emma. They are going to have to introduce more female characters. An all male cast with just Regina is going to be really hard for me to watch. Maybe Lucy’s mother will be an interesting character.
I think Emma and her parents storyline has never been properly shown. They have never gone enough into Emma’s back story growing up. Emma has barely discussed that with her parents. They have never properly resolved that for me. They just quit talking about it. Snow and Charming as a couple may be finished, but Emma and her parents was barely touched, in my opinion, and not even remotely delved into as deeply as it should have been. Because it was never explored properly, it was never resolved, and that is complete failure for a show where Emma is the main character.
I actually think that Zelena’s story felt finished. She was a minor character and she resolved her issues with Regina. Those were the issues her story revolved around. Her magic is gone, so she is no longer a danger and she has her family. They could do more with her, but it would be opening new storylines.
Emma’s storyline with her parents was opened in Season 1, but never properly explored or resolved, so that feels much less finished then Zelena who had very few storylines being a much more minor character.

ParticipantDid it like destroy the house? Did they go back and the sword was there, but Henry was gone?

ParticipantIt does seem weird that Henry who knocked on the door of his mother’s apartment and said I’m Henry. I’m your son would then dismiss a little girl when she did the same thing. Also, they were in Seattle. It said it on the screen and they showed the space needle.
Lucy always makes me think Narnia too. Not that they are going to be able to do Narnia though.

ParticipantI think the belief is a good idea, but i agree it should be the collective belief, not just Emma’s. They should have had the Black Fairy create some spell that chained the belief to Emma alone or something. Maybe use the residual of Emma’s tears that were stolen by that bar owner or something random.

ParticipantThe beginning was a flash forward? How were we supposed to understand that based upon the show? I also agree about Henry and his daughter. Their were a lot of reasons why that happened with Emma and Henry. She grew up alone with no parents. She had no home. She had no family to help her with a child. Neal left her. She was in jail. She was seventeen. There were a lot of reasons whereas Henry has a family and has support and all sorts of things.
Though, if Henry got someone pregnant and they left and never told him they had a child. I guess that is probably what happened. Because men can have babies and no know about them, whereas women are usually aware.

ParticipantSeriously, how was Emma’s apartment still there? Like what even is that? That just makes no sense and i see no point in that at all. I don’t even think it was the exact apartment. The door was the same, but i am not sure about some of the other stuff.
Also, completely agree about Belle’s ankle. If they didn’t want her in a scene find another way. Rumpel could have just waved his hand, but no Belle is like leave me here in pain, you go on. Just like leave her in the library at the top of the elevator and Rumpel go on without her or something. That was dumb.

ParticipantYeah, the first time they showed the guy with Charming’s sword in the opening, i was like yeah, it is going to be an older Henry or a version of him. I have no idea why he wouldn’t help his daughter and i don’t like the little girl, but she may grow on me. I, also, think it is a mistake to just start over in the exact same place with a child finding their parent. It was exactly the same, so it doesn’t feel like a big change at all.
I loved that Henry kissed Emma awake at the end. I was so glad that Emma and Hook were never proved to be true love. I thought they were going to take that part and i am glad it was rightly left with Emma and Henry.
Of course, the mechanics of what happened make no sense. Why were their like ten people from all the realms left in Regina’s castle? Who were those people?
Why was there a bean? I kept thinking that there was going to be a giant and they would recognize Charming thinking he was James who destroyed the bean stalks, but no. That is for a show that makes sense and uses the past to make the future interest. That isn’t OUAT.
Why did Gideon turn back into a baby? Rumpel and Belle hugging? Is his heart still darkened? Though it shouldn’t be because he is not at fault here while someone else is controlling his heart.
Oh, and yeah why in the world would all the magical realms be dependent on Emma’s belief? She is only 32/33 years old and the realms are much older then that. Just random whatever.
Also, it can’t have been two years since Henry ate the turnover and him be 14. That is impossible. Either it has been three years or he is still 13, but the writers are idiots and don’t know anything.
I am not a Rumpel fan, but i liked their ending. I am glad that it went well for them. I wasn’t worried that Rumpel would be killed, but i think that was better then it could have been. Obviously, it would have made more sense with Bae in it and i think that a lot of the dialogue would have been more interesting and would have made more sense with him in it.
You can see the sort of inkling of what they intended to do ending with Rumpel being invited to the family diner with Bae and Emma. Seeing Henry remember in the second episode that he was Rumpel’s grandson. Though, the Black Fairy seemed to have no regard for Henry being her great grandson. Though, she was a terrible person, for some reason, so there is that. Seeing Regina smile at Rumpel in the diner. Seeing them all their together.
I am glad that Charming said Hook was trying to kill Emma and Snow when they first met and that Hook said he had bad intentions. That they weren’t love at first sight or any of the garbage that is written about the episode Tallahassee. That was nice to see that refuted. They pretty much said that their romance wasn’t planned.
I think the end with the Last Supper page was bizarre, but them at the diner was nice, just why make that weird shot at the end. Still, it could have been so much worse, that i am okay with it. I can see the original intention behind the mistakes that the show has fallen into.

ParticipantI think that Emma is going to burn the Storybook and that is going to do something. I don’t think they intend Regina, Rumpel, and Hook to be just in flashbacks. That just makes no sense at all, in my opinion.

ParticipantI agree. The end of Season 6 has no bases on the original ending. The end that is in the Season 6 finale has Gideon who was made up later. The Black Fairy being Rumpel’s mother was made up later. The only barest of things that could have been was they intended Snow and Charming to be happy, though the baby was made up later. Emma and Regina taking care of Henry as a family. The end with Emma in the bug with her love interest, but that was supposed to be Neal and not Hook, of course.
Season 7 i think is just going to go off the rails completely. There hasn’t been a plan really though since Season 2.
