Ooooh, even better scenario. I like that. I like that A LOT. Hook does like to push Emma’s buttons. Can Emma just fall on Hook while they are going through the portal? She is conveniently right behind him. It is also rather strange that she would pick that fixture to hold on to, seeing that everyone else is holding onto some type of rope. It would be rather difficult to hold on to, like she is at the moment. Plus, there have been way too many fanfics that have posited that scenario. The fangirl in me is wishing for this to happen. Badly.

Surayya, I have not seen the season finale for Bones yet! I still need to catch up on this season! Can’t wait to watch it though!

Hmm…he did say that, but I feel that Hook has a softer side for Bae, especially after the guilt he still has for letting the Lost Boys take him. He may not completely step aside, but I feel he would also be conflicted in the situation.

Neal has not fought for Emma, but Hook may just think twice before pursuing Emma, at the least, regardless of what his actions might be after that.

No, he did not show any intimidation after the Lost Boy talked about PP ripping people’s shadows out of their bodies if they lie to him. He rather found it amusing at his attempt to intimidate him with that threat. But, we can not say for certain if his feelings changed after visiting NL. The look on his face after he saw NL on the globe, realizing Henry was there was filled with dread and fear.

Regardless if he fears him or not, Hook does not go down without a few swings.

I totally agree with that. It would not make sense that he would all of a sudden be good 100% of the time. He has been vengeful for 300 years or so and being good and true might take some time getting used to lol. It also makes for an interesting, and continually-evolving character development for Hook. This would add to his complexity.

Absolutely. I see that happening in the beginning of their friendship too. He needs to grieve over Bae in a sense, realizing that he is “gone.” For him to back away at first would show that he is honoring Neal. I think pushing her away after the attraction inevitably stays after all his internal conlflicts will only make for an interesting and push-and-pull romantic dynamic between the two. Those are always the best.

It is necessary and a way to quell any doubts we had that Neal and Emma should or should not be together. They still have a lot of issues to uncover and Neal needs to find out more about Emma’s struggles because of leaving her.

Yes, a slow burning candle has always been my favorite type of ship. I don’t like instant romances that are lovey dovey. They seem too artificial to me. It is through the tension and the struggles and the love that comes after it that makes it long-lasting and real.
