Hmm…I’m thinking the zombies could be those people that where consumed by the wraith. But which world did we see, FTL or Storybrooke?
Well, the zombies kind of look like they are all those people in that village in FTL that Cora killed, back when they found Hook pretending to be the only survivor. At least the scenery sort of looks the same to me. And if she killed them by ripping their hearts out, it would be fitting that she could control them, hence zombies
And about the dream connection, I’m really not seeing yet how Charming would need to go under the sleeping curse to communicate, because Henry is already doing that. Plus, apparently it’s the after-effects of the curse that cause the Red Room nightmares, so if he doesn’t wake up, no deal. But I’m almost convinced that he’s gonna risk his life somehow, and it all points to him undergoing some sort of curse or something life threatening, so I think we might be missing something important here… I hope it’s nothing bad that happens to Henry 😯
PS: Don’t we get a Canadian Promo too?
[adrotate group="5"]jj_onceParticipantI was just wondering about this myself after that scene. I don’t think he did it out of the kindness of his heart, though. I’m pretty sure he DOES have an ulterior motive, even if that is just getting on someone’s good side. That’s still a motive that isn’t just to do something nice for the kid.
My two theories are that he needs Emma and Snow back, for whatever reason, or that he actually is Henry’s grandfather, as some people still think Neal is Bae.
I think the first one is a better explanation. His end game as I see it is to be able to leave Storybrooke so he can look for Bae, and if this whole thing with not being able to leave without losing their memories is a side-effect of the curse, that means that maybe Emma has to do something else to break it. I think that’s why he wants them back, and I’m sure he knows waaaay more about the sleeping curse than he’s letting on.
jj_onceParticipantYeah, I think they’re probably seeing each other. The way they described it certainly seems to point to that. But why? Did Snow have the same nightmares? If she did, did she see anyone there? And why are Henry and Aurora connected? Just by the sleeping curse? I’m not sure how that makes any sense. Maybe a part of you still stays trapped in this place where you go when you’re under the sleeping curse, and that’s what the nightmares are? I don’t know…
jj_onceParticipantI’m still not convinced that Neal is Bae. He seems too dismissive of August before he sees whatever is in that box. He really seems to not believe in magic at first, even though his answer is non-committal (“I take it you do”). But mostly, if I were Bae, and I loved my father as much as he seemed to do, and I found out that this person seemed to be from FTL, I’d definitely have a different reaction. In fact, as soon as August says “This world has many temptations”, that would ring a bell. When I found out about the curse, I would go to Storybrooke searching for my father or try to contact him somehow. The only way I can see this happening is if Bae lost his memory when he traveled here, and August didn’t know that Neal is Bae. But I don’t see why that would be the case and it would seem a little forced, to be honest. So I think Neal is someone else.
The interesting part here for me is the nightmares. It looks as though the sleeping curse induces these similar nightmares, and that explains why both Henry and Aurora are having them. But do they mean something? Why THIS particular nightmare? Why a red room with no windows? If Snow had the same exact nightmares, wouldn’t she mention it? And if she didn’t, why are Aurora and Henry having the same nightmare? In fact, they seem to be IN THE SAME nightmare, since she mentions there was someone else there, and he says there was a woman there as well. So many questions, not enough answers!! 🙄
jj_onceParticipantIt’s more like he accidentally went through him with a chainsaw or something lol That would explain the scars. I guess the original monster was made out of bits and pieces of other people, right?
jj_onceParticipantI think Whale’s brother is a new character, although it would be cool if it weren’t just Frankenstein the monster, but tied in to something else like people mentioned here, say, Jekyll and Hyde. But I’m fairly convinced it’s a new character because of the scars on his hand, we haven’t seen anyone like that. Or maybe he had some miraculous, magic plastic surgery and then it could be anyone. 😐
jj_onceParticipantWell, I guess the most important one is the dream-Oz versus real-Oz, then, especially if we want to consider that Oz is one of the magical worlds accessible through the hat. It needs to be real for that 🙂
The other stuff is probably all the details that are left out in a movie adaptation, although I have to confess it made me want to read the book now 😉

This incident would certainly have given her cause to abandon Jefferson in another land, separating him from the one he loves. It’d also explain why she cursed him to remember the love he’d lost.
I’d think she’d hate Rumple more if she knew the whole story though. Granted, they’re not BFFs, but she’s still happy to work with him, which I doubt she would be if she knew the whole truth. Unless she did know, but kept that fact hidden, so she could play him, (or so she thought), pretend to still be good natured frenemies, just enough to get him to give her the curse, and in casting it, she not only got revenge on Snow, but also on Rumple.
I think she does hate Rumple more than everyone else. Remember she kidnapped Belle and locked her up and told Rumple that she’d died? Plus, she may have thought that she was getting her way by convincing Rumple to help her cast the curse, but from what I gather so far, getting Regina to cast the curse to take them all to Storybrooke was Rumple’s goal all along. He seems to have manipulated Cora, Regina, even Whale (Rumple could’ve produced the heart in a heartbeat — pun intended — but chose to have them do all the theatrics on Regina to get her where he wanted her emotionally). And all of this was to get someone powerful enough to cast the curse to bring him to this world without magic. To find his son. So yeah, I’d bet Regina is pissed off at him if she has figured all of this out.
jj_onceParticipantThanks 😀 And hey, I see you’re from Brazil 🙂 So am I! Which city are you in?
jj_onceParticipantYes! I heard him say slippers so I automatically thought of Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. I just assumed they were Dorothy’s because afterwards he talks about the fact that he needs them to go to a world without magic, which is what they are for in the story. There are also a lot of little things pointing to the fact that maybe Dr. Whale is also the Wizard of Oz.
The fact that Jefferson talks about the crystal ball and the slippers makes me think of the Wicked Witch, who had a crystal ball and wanted the slippers.
However, I haven’t read the book, only seen the movie. Any major differences?
