Ohh I like the Davy Jones connection (The doctor Maybe, since were finding out he’s got some relations with the dead)

I really liked him, that may be cause i like pirates and antihero’s and he’s a cool lookin dude, but overall I liked his character in the end, “sparkling dirt?” I like that he’s not a flamboyant 2 demensional “pirate” and that he’s a guy that the crew likes..and that he’s a charmer…thats how I am maybe that’s why I like those characters. 😉

I think it’s to establish that his name is not hook, and so Cora can call him by his nickname at the end.

I like the idea of King triton the best right now since we’ve heard rumors of a little mermaid story, and his name is whale.

I think the possibility of him making a deal with Regina-ursula, or gold could come into play regaurding a certain mermaid but i definitely feel like he has some power issues and something was taken from him. King triton was know for that

my only draw back is that he’s such a womanizer… I don’t know about him being a father figure, but I like the idea cause that would make things intersting in the mermaid household. also he didn’t really sound like the ruler of the sea when he was revealed other than instigating a mob on regina. It was very Gaston like ( We’ve already seen him)

I’m mixed on my theory, maybe he’s a lost boy, with mommy issues. but Triton is my favorite guess….please thoguth please make the mermaids better than the fairies! 😀

I think you found some very accurate and interesting information, regarding the symbol, i think very often the writers.. work to incorporate symbols and meanings that arrive at several different but coexisting interpretations and meanings. I really like that.

Definitely think there should be a connection if their isn’t, I forgot about that.

Much like the dove/pigeon in story brooke, news is being delivered after a battle is supposedly won.

and we saw the birds during Mary Margrets rescue of the dove last season.

in the origanal animated snow white… white birds were seen around the wishing well.

My Theory right now, is that August sent the dove, and that he is connected to the new character M.R.J who i think may be Wait for it…..Peter Pan. Both Characters Pinocchio and peter pan were symbols of youth and we know a peter pan story is coming up. I arrive at this theory because of the clocks..as for the microphones and mp3 player maybe he’s a musician…

only other theory is that Mr. gold’s assistant, can turn into a dove and might be a spy. but we haven’t seen much of him so i’m not confident on that theory.. but a fun thing to think about.

I do think he’s connected with August… and it’s very possible august sent the postcard as well it seems to fit his paper and writing tendencies. White Doves met snow white at a well in the animated Disney film.

At first I thought it referred, to the character in the beginning just feeling broken as a person… I like to think maybe this character left storybrooke and has had bad luck since then.

But I do think it also refers to the fact that the curse is broken, I feel that august is involved with this person. mainly because of his phone call.

i’m bringing it up again…and maybe their just trying to mess with me and give alot of tie ins cause their awesome like that….I think the collar on jame’s coat was a grey wolf’s fur…wheather this is just to aid to the story that yes wolves are present, or to further add to my theory…i don’t know.. I didn’t see any red on his coat, which I kind of wish I did… because that would mean without it he’d be victim to transformation.

Maybe I’m just being the boy who cried wolf, but i felt like rumple took a lot of time to find that, hair and maybe it was a more “pure” hair of his true form. I missed gettign this in before the show.. but I wanted to share that observation.

Also, maybe it’s cause James is a shepard.. and a good guy, but James works at an animal shelter, and gave a dog card to Kathhern. Found the cottage in the woods pretty well, and huffs and puffs while beathing heavily…oh wait that’s everyone… 🙂 now I’m just being silly
