I have a spring and I know from experience that springs rise and fall in water level. If it’s especially dry and hot then the water level falls and some springs end up drying out. If it’s a rainy season then springs will overflow. Maybe because the magic is dying the water is disappearing, too, although it didn’t look that way.

I almost followed that, RG. That is twisted and cracky and sounds plausible maybe. But then so does everything else.
So let me get this straight…the theory is Belle is in Storybrooke and does the spell and somehow meets Ariel who then takes her to Neverland. Whilst in Neverland, PP captures her and uses her likeness and the shadow to play with Rumple’s emotions. Yikes. That means Belle, Neal and Henry could all be in the same location. Rumple’s whole family in one spot.

I just checked and on my closed caption he said “the other one” and not older.
I think it may be Ariel because didn’t earlier spoilers say that she’d show up in Neverland first? And we know that she’s in SB with Belle so maybe she’s able to travel through a portal in the water.

I did think of Ariel, too, in human form as a possibility. That would tie into the next episode and at the end we see her escape since we know Ariel shows up in Storybrooke out of the water in the following episode.
Hmm…yes, Ariel is now top of my list.

I could see Peter doing that too. Give Hook enough rope to hang himself by and then step in and tighten the noose. That would be twisted and so totally Pan.

Yeah, we were talking about this right after the episode. In the US promo I went frame by frame and you can see Regina and Rumple standing there and a shadow rise from the ground. Evidently she chokes VisionBelle, who collapses and the shadow rises up to reveal it’s true self.
So all this time the Shadow as manifesting itself as Belle. It somehow new how to prey on Rumple’s biggest weakness. Poor Rumple.

I think that ship crew were a little too hasty in their turn to piracy. What if the King needed the dreamshade to wipe out the Ogres? 😛 We don’t know what he really wanted it for. 😉

And Emma has trust issues so if she ever finds out that Hook knew and didn’t tell her that’s not good news for Hook.

Okay, here’s my cracky theory I told everyone about in chat:
My opinion is Hook isn’t going to come right back and tell Emma that Neal is alive. He’s going to be tormented and troubled and stew over it for awhile. But Emma does find out about Neal. She’s gazing at the mirror hoping to see sign of Henry once again, but Henry threw the mirror into the weeds and it landed cracked and face up. What if she sees the cage above and Neal trying to escape. The mirror is face up and can reflect what is happening above it. That’s how she discovers Neal’s alive.
