ParticipantOkay, so I finally sat down and watched the full length version of “Good Morning, Storybrooke” (which is longer than what was shown at Comic-Con). But I do wonder how canon the stuff in it is because this excerpt gives hope to us Hookriel shippers (that is if you don’t think Hook is Eric). I know most of us have seen it before, but here is written down:
Whale: “Dear Doctor, I recently found out that my girlfriend is a mermaid. My problem, I’m a leg man. Can we ever be happy?” Eric, that’s a tough break. My advice is throw her back. If you’re a leg man, she’s not the one for you. It might seem cruel but she’ll find someone else. There’s plenty of lonely guys out there looking for a nice piece of tail. That’s what makes the world so beautiful.
Grasping at straws I know, but this is a crackship, so I’ll take anything I can get. 😛

ParticipantI leave to go shopping for the day and come home to the title being released. 😉 Things happen when I leave my computer.
I tried googling “Nasty Habits” and the only thing that kept coming up repeatedly was a Mick Jagger quote: “I got nasty habits; I take tea at three”. And there was a punk rock group by name Nasty Habits. No reference from the Peter Pan novel or movie, either.

ParticipantWelcome back! If you want to return to Gypsy, Daniel should be able to help you. But either name, we’re glad you’re back

ParticipantHe might not be able to use magic if he comes back without the DO curse, but Gold was sure able to disarm people without it before the magic came to Storybrooke. This is the man who kidnapped, tied and beat Moe, a man twice his size, in “Skin Deep” and then was able to overtake August, a man a fraction of his age in “The Return”. All with a bum foot. No matter what version of Rumple we get, he’s quite dangerous. 👿
At least with all the thieves and colorful characters in his family, Henry will never be without an interesting tale. I pity, though, the poor girl (or boy) who ends up with him. Now that he’s got the Dark One as Grandpa and the Evil Queen as Mom, that boy’s going to have a hard time finding a friend let along a romantic interest when he’s older.

ParticipantI think Moe really needs to reconcile with Belle. I think if he’d come forward with a heavy and repentant heart that they could mend their relationship. He’ll never approve of Rumple, but what he plotted and almost accomplished did come from a place of love. He needs to accept that she’s in love with him (I’m getting flashes to Trisha Yearwood’s “She’s in Love with the Boy”)
I’m my dream imaginings, I can see him visiting her in the hospital when she was a blank slate and finally realizing what losing her memory actually entailed. Part of me thinks Moe just didn’t think through his actions–just went into a mode of “My daughter’s alive. I need to remove her from the Dark One no matter what the cost.” Maybe he even came across her as Lacey and realized that was even worse still.
I’m just saying that we’re all rooting for Neal and his dad to come to some kind of understanding where their relationship can move forward. Why can’t Belle that same chance?

ParticipantThey did that with Neal. Gave a us a tease in the premiere and then didn’t show us him again until Tallahassee. I can see them doing something along the same route with both Ariel and Robin Hood.
I’m so happy that they’ve cast Ariel older. I don’t think the younger fans that are upset realize the plot implications, like other have mentioned, if Ariel was actually 16 years old. Heck, at that young age, they’d be limited to her being a schoolgirl and interacting more with the lost boys and Henry. Meanwhile, us older fans are envisioning a whole bunch of other possibilities.
Keeping my fingers crossed her story is in the past and she didn’t get her happy ending like in the novel. Come one Adam and Eddy, break away from the Disney mold!

ParticipantShe was a blank slate. Nothing. No former life, no fairytale life.
Boy, who knew loving Rumple would lead to so many years of imprisonment. That man isn’t just curse personally but so is everyone who cares for him.

ParticipantSo if you’re on Once and not imprisoned in some fashion, you’ll end up dead. 😛 Oh my, what an interesting bunch of people Henry’s related to. Also, on Henry’s list of crimes, he’s not above ditching school, lying, using subterfuge, acting as a lookout for other’s crimes, etc., to get his way. That kid is one conniving boy.
As for being imprisoned–has any character been more imprisoned in more ways for more time in any show like ever?
So true, so true. Belle needs take some karate or kung fu and then make her way down to the shooting range to learn how to knock off a few rounds.

ParticipantYeah, not shocking at all, but nice to finally have confirmation. There were rumors during season one and season two but then she got pregnant and then another show. I’m glad they waited until they could get her. Great news and she’ll fit in well.

ParticipantOh, the tangled web of Henry and Regina. I think a lot of fans forget the fact that Henry is only eleven years old, bordering on twelve, right now. Anyone who has worked or has children knows that they do not think as adults and make unwise decisions at that age. They’re testing boundaries and learning. Some may appear as though they have adult reasoning skills, but they just don’t have the ability yet.
Henry is more emotionally, and I would guess academically, advanced than other children his age. However, he still is a child. The fact that he still has empathy for Regina is willing to have her in his life is amazing. The same thing for Emma and Henry. They all need to learn how to navigate the world of shared custody because you have three people now who have a claim on Henry, and Henry isn’t willing to let any of them go now that he has them in his life.
I really dislike the idea of Regina adopting a lost boy after everything is said and done. The Darlings end up adopting the boys, but I think that would be bad in Regina’s case, and then it would throw fandom into a tailspin about Regina trying to replace Henry, buy love, and a whole host of other psychological issues.
