ParticipantRecent research has found that swearing is beneficial to people. It’s a quick efficient way to let go of stress and a natural instinct. I usually don’t swear, myself, but it occasionally pops out. I don’t mind as long as it isn’t every other word.
If children are watching Ouat, I think their parents have much more to explain about than an occasional cuss word. This is a show of deep issues that contains violence and mature themes. I would be much more worried about a young person seeing a heart ripped from someone’s chest or a person putting children’s lives in danger.

ParticipantOne thing I’m hoping for the coming season is Neal making his way back to Storybrooke and getting to know Belle. He’s never met the real Belle and I don’t thing its really been explained to him what has actually happened to her. I think he’d be reluctant at first to have anything to do with her. My hope is after they can bond and he finds out the truth about what his father’s been up to that he’ll open his heart a little for the old man.
I do see any future relationship as a struggle. They’re never going to be bosom buddies, but I hope they can build something in the future. And just maybe Neal will get to the point that he’s thinking, “I want to be a good father to my son and one way is to have a relationship with my own father.”. He already recognizes that history can repeat itself with his “Don’t let Henry grow up like we did” speech. That’s the last thing he wants to do, repeat mistakes of the past.
I am very excited about the reunion, once again, of Neal and Rumple. Although, it does seem to be a developing pattern for Rumple to once again encounter people he previously thought deceased. Let’s hope it stops after Neal.

ParticipantI leave for a few hours and stuff happens! I like the title. At least with this one we know who it refers to. My mind went immediately to the book quote about Peter describing Tink.
As for “unexpected connection”. We examine and discuss everything in such minute detail that nothing is unexpected and hence we argue about definitions and possibilities. To non-rabid fans who just watch the show, anyone other than Peter Pan and Hook would be unexpected. So I’m not going to overanalyze who her connection is to, for once, because she could potentially be connected to any and all of our cast members. This is the show that has Snow White and Rumplestiltskin as grandparents to the same child. Anything is possible.

ParticipantThat’s what I had down, and then I got to thinking too much and got confuzzled and hit delete. 😀

ParticipantThere is just no way I can see Regina and Hook. Every villain needs an anchor to keep them rooted to the good side. Rumple has Belle. If Regina and Hook got together that would just be like Rumple and Cora making a long term go of it. Not a good thing. I can’t imagine either allowing the other to see a vulnerable side of them. Each would be constantly doubting the other’s trust. It would be a double-sided disaster.
However, I could see Robin, knowing true love once before (assuming poor Marian is dead) and Regina with her history of Daniel being able to sympathize with the other. Both have lost the one person they’ve loved. And it brings back A&E talking about loving after losing your true love again.
Reminds me of a quote from the movie Sleepless in Seattle:
Doctor Marcia Fieldstone: People who truly loved once are far more likely to love again. Sam, do you think there’s someone out there you could love as much as your wife?
Sam Baldwin: Well, Dr. Marcia Fieldstone, that’s hard to imagine.
Doctor Marcia Fieldstone: What are you going to do?
Sam Baldwin: Well, I’m gonna get out of bed every morning… breath in and out all day long. Then, after a while I won’t have to remind myself to get out of bed every morning and breath in and out… and, then after a while, I won’t have to think about how I had it great and perfect for a while.
Oh, I just love that movie. *sighs* It’s about a man who lost the love of his life and eventually begins to open his heart and learn to live again. Reminds me potentially of Regina and her losing Daniel.

ParticipantOkay, so I’m stuck on when did Nealfire and Hook leave Neverland. I started into a lengthy post and then got lost in the t-word. So I scrapped it. Maybe I’ll attempt to reorganize my thoughs again.

ParticipantStill don’t think it will be Hook. Nope. He’s destined for the CaptainSwanFire debacle. They’re not going to throw Regina into that mix, too.
