I was initially really upset that Alice wasn’t going to be Grace’s mother.  I think if they could have gotten unrestricted access to Sebastian Stan, they might have went that way.  But plans change.

However, I’m really beginning to dig the theory of the Red Queen being Grace’s mother and Alice’s sister…or any combination of the three.  None of us really believe that Grace’s mother is dead.  These guys are masters at wording things.  All the signs from using the word “lost” to Regina’s quip about not abandoning family point to something more to that story.  Maybe, though, Jefferson thinks that Grace’s mother is dead, just like Rumple did of Belle in “Skin Deep”.

Since Once:Wonderland is an open and shut story, I can see then just dropping clues about Grace’s parentage, leaving it open to be brought up on the “mother show” in Storybrooke.

Were Colin and Michael attached at the hip at Comic-Con?  Most pictures where one is, the other is.  I’m beginning to like the CaptainFire broship more and more.  😛

I’m listening to Alison Krauss right now and her song “Maybe” would be a good Belle song.  Here’s the chorus:

    Maybe I can stand alone
    Maybe I’m strong as stone
Even though the bird has flown
    Maybe he’ll fly on home

It’s a good question but I don’t know if there is one definitive answer because I think it varies case to case based on emotional attachment between all parties. So, if Rumple dies (won’t happen) would Bae and Belle still be as close as they were when Rumple was alive: in my head, yes, because that relationship wasn’t just because of Rumple. It started out as that way due to marriage, but they become friends on their own terms, not out of Belle and Rumple’s marriage. So, Snow and Regina never would have been step-mother/daughter after Leopold died because Regina hates Snow. She was her stepmother in marriage only. As soon as Leopold dies, Regina tried to sever all ties with Snow and probably no longer considered herself Snow’s stepmother. Hook was emotionally attached to Bae, whether he saw himself as his stepfather or at least father figure we’ll have to wait and see, my guess is YES.

This reminds me of my life a little bit, although I was an adult through all this.  After my mom passed away my dad started seeing someone else.  They never married but they were together almost a decade.  My dad passed away, but I still talk to his girlfriend often and even go to her family’s holiday events.  We all went through a lot together.  She’s not technically family, but she is and always will be.  So I guess what I’m getting at is that you don’t need legal documentation to make a family.  I think that Hook probably does think about Bae as a being someone he has a connection with, a bond of some type that he owes allegiance to.  He’s not Bae’s stepfather in name, but in his heart he may think of himself that way.

Omgosh, I think the world is coming to an end.  I just had a positive thought about Hook.

On that tangent, I wonder when Snow became to be suspicious of Regina.  She still had an outward appearance of liking her stepmother at her father’s funeral, but I wonder if it was a gradual thing, witnessing their marriage and what was happening or did it come on suddenly.  Maybe I better go rewatch “Fruit of a Poison Tree”.

Hmmm…the last paragraph of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland implies that her sister had visited Wonderland herself.  Here is the excerpt:

But her sister sat still just as she left her, leaning her head on her hand, watching the setting sun, and thinking of little Alice and all her wonderful Adventures, till she too began dreaming after a fashion, and this was her dream:–

First, she dreamed of little Alice herself, and once again the tiny hands were clasped upon her knee, and the bright eager eyes were looking up into hers–she could hear the very tones of her voice, and see that queer little toss of her head to keep back the wandering hair that would always get into her eyes–and still as she listened, or seemed to listen, the whole place around her became alive the strange creatures of her little sister’s dream.

The long grass rustled at her feet as the White Rabbit hurried by–the frightened Mouse splashed his way through the neighbouring pool–she could hear the rattle of the teacups as the March Hare and his friends shared their never-ending meal, and the shrill voice of the Queen ordering off her unfortunate guests to execution–once more the pig-baby was sneezing on the Duchess’s knee, while plates and dishes crashed around it–once more the shriek of the Gryphon, the squeaking of the Lizard’s slate-pencil, and the choking of the suppressed guinea-pigs, filled the air, mixed up with the distant sobs of the miserable Mock Turtle.

So she sat on, with closed eyes, and half believed herself in Wonderland, though she knew she had but to open them again, and all would change to dull reality–the grass would be only rustling in the wind, and the pool rippling to the waving of the reeds–the rattling teacups would change to tinkling sheep-bells, and the Queen’s shrill cries to the voice of the shepherd boy–and the sneeze of the baby, the shriek of the Gryphon, and all thy other queer noises, would change (she knew) to the confused clamour of the busy farm-yard–while the lowing of the cattle in the distance would take the place of the Mock Turtle’s heavy sobs.

Lastly, she pictured to herself how this same little sister of hers would, in the after-time, be herself a grown woman; and how she would keep, through all her riper years, the simple and loving heart of her childhood: and how she would gather about her other little children, and make their eyes bright and eager with many a strange tale, perhaps even with the dream of Wonderland of long ago: and how she would feel with all their simple sorrows, and find a pleasure in all their simple joys, remembering her own child-life, and the happy summer days.

So if they build and twist that I could see her sister as someone who may be or is familiar with everything going on.  Maybe she could be the Red Queen or even someone else.

Have you been in chat on Sundays or Wednesdays? We get sidetracked constantly. It’s as if we all have ADHD (not really joking there). Can’t stay on topic to save our lives.

Off topic: this is invisible as I type and not loading correctly. This thread sure has its bugs.

The hate is sad.  The #ouat tag on tumblr is full of hate from SwanQueeners.  What I dislike about some, and not all, but some Swen supporters is that if you’re not supporting the ship then you’re homophobic and prejudice.  I dislike being told I’m wrong because I don’t support a certain ship.  Just because I don’t like Emma and Regina together doesn’t mean I’m against other same-sex couples.  It’s just I dislike these two together.  It’s getting ridiculous.  And I feel sad that Eddy and Adam are getting so much attention for this.  I don’t have a twitter account, but if I did I’d be tweeting my support for them to show that people appreciate them.

He’s too old for Aladdin, but he’s going to make a very sexy Jafar. What’s funny is that he was married/life partner/whatever it was with Barbara Hershey for a long time. (They’re not together anymore, are they?)  Hehe…it’s funny to think of the Queen of Hearts and Jafar as a power couple.
