My first thought was the mirror, too, about Rumbelle meeting once again in Neverland. Except us B&tB.
I mean, look at the following in the Disney and Once fairytale world:
- In B&tB, the beast gives Belle a hand mirror which she uses to see him when she wishes.
- Rumple was admiring himself this past season in a scene with Regina using a hand mirror.
- In TLM, Ariel is seen using a hand mirror in the water.
- Mermaids are known to exist in Neverland.
- Rumple is headed to Neverland.
- Belle is separated from her beast and true love, Rumple.
Connect the dots. That mirror is making an appearance at some point in this show. 😀

I’ve got to wondering, and someone on tumblr mentioned this, too, if Ariel will be able to travel between Neverland and Storybrooke. The connection between the two worlds. It would be wild and exciting.

I think of SQ like Keb said, as a nice fandom crackship that will probably never happen. I ship Hookriel and we’ve been joking and gushing about it, but if it never happens I’m perfectly fine with that. Swan Queen reminds of the Sirius/Lupin shippers in HP. People built a huge ship from a few words that described an embrace between brothers in PoA and every interaction after that was filtered through that lens. So when Lupin/Tonks happened (my own personal crackship) they felt it was a betrayal and out of the blue, even though I’d picked up on clues throughout OotP. In Ouat, the SQ shippers have had those “shipping goggles” on and now they feel betrayed by something that probably was never going to happen to begin with.
Mr. Gold was speaking very quickly on that commercial on the “Good Morning, Storybrooke” video. I loved Dr. Whale’s advice to Jill about having Gold rip her heart out. Hehe. And Leroy/Nova kissing was “adorkable” like Goldie (Yvette Nicole Brown…love her on Community) said.
Poor Belle. Let’s hope she has a few hankies ready by the time she reads the last scene in R&J.

Okay, so I’ve been thinking. The cast is pretty big, even with the non-regulars like Leroy and Granny. Since they’re bringing Ariel on, with the bloated cast and multiple storylines already going on, I don’t think they’re going to add a separate love interest for her. Prince Eric is either done and over with, following the book and the prince marrying someone else, or they’re going to absorb Eric into another character we already have. Hmmm….girls, who could I possibly have in mind? *she ponders with a evil smile*
Or this could just be my own way to rationalize a certain crackship I adore. 😛

Argh! So good. Ariel also has a blue bikini top on, too. At least she donned a dress before she stole Leroy’s fork. I remember being about six or seven and watching Splash, that I mentioned a few minutes ago, with my parents and it being the first movie where I remember seeing nudity in. My parents were pretty lenient about non-sexualized nudity in movies and art when I was little. But at the time all I remember thinking was “Oh, mermaids have such pretty long hair”. Hehe. 😉

I’m thinking Darryl Hannah in Splash. A Disney movie, where she could come out of the water and gain legs, but could only stay out for a bit before she started getting sick and needed to be back in the water.

Okay, that summary said Grumpy so it might have been the Enchanted Forest where it happened an a flashback. Meaning, she could be anywhere now. Perhaps after her little fiasco with her prince, instead of being turned to sea foam, she was banished to Wonderland where Hook will encounter her and they will fall in love!
Yeah, probably not going to happen, but it’s nice to imagine.
