I think you brought up a highly valid point, RG. Time is passing so fast in this series. Last week Elizabeth found out she was pregnant and this week she gave birth to Geoffrey Charles. They went from speculating to reopening a mine in a week. Time is going so fast but it’s not coming across that way on screen.
I did have some comments about historical correctness as I was watching. Elizabeth has the baby in her room? She lives on an estate. Her social position in that time would be that she had a nanny and a wet nurse to look after the baby, who would relegated to the nursery. Realistically, she wouldn’t be that hands on of a mother as to have her baby in the bedroom with her and her husband.
I also wondered how Demelza got that gown on if it tied in back We know how she got it off. 😛

I would go by the information coming from JKR only. She’s corrected a lot of news articles on her twitter. They seem to be getting a lot wrong and really know nothing more than we do. So I will ignore the media and only believe what she says.

So my weekend began by locking my keys in the car (and learning via YouTube how to break into a car…it’s surprisingly easy), then ended with a sprained ankle and running out of gas on the Interstate whilst the other car in our caravan almost did the same (Thank goodness for AAA). In between was lots of Swanfire feels, including a pair of swans and their babies. Twas lots of fun despite the mishaps…which were many.
Sorry, Slurpeez for missing Poldark. I was in pain and laying down and couldn’t concentrate on anything. I did record it and plan to watch it and will watch it live with you next Sunday.

I realized I haven’t even visited the forum in about a week and longer since I’ve posted. Thought I should make an appearance. *waves*
I’m kinda of surprised Screwball quit. She had a large following. Her essays were fantastic. To just not even finish 4B is something. I do wonder how many people aren’t coming back at all in the fall. Ratings-wise, but also fandom-wise. I see a lot of people in certain segments of fandom just giving up…closing tumblrs, dedicating themselves to other shows. My dash was mostly Rumbelle, I haven’t changed followers but now it’s a lot more diverse. Very little Once related things anymore.
I’ve said this before that the opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference or apathy. If you just don’t even have a bit of anger to you that means some spark is dead. There is nothing there. You can’t get back someone who has just given up. And there are too many other things to watch on tv. People can decide to catch up on their DVRs or Netflix instead of tuning in to the show they once loved. I can tell you from experience, it’s very easy to forget what time your once favorite show was on or what date it actually comes back on. Then you get off-track and think, “Oh, I’ll catch up later.” But then later rarely comes.

It is Premier Serenity Sock Weight in the colorway of Spring Fling. I do like how the colors are turning out. I wish I had made it tad smaller size but I’ll live with it.

My cardigan is completed, but needs some finishing. I need to weave in ends and finish the belt that is taking forever to knit up. After I get it blocked I will model and photograph it.
In the meantime, I started some toe-up socks on two circs two-at-a-time. I admit I’m not a big fan of the two circs at one time. I’d rather do magic loop. I find it less fiddly than this method, but it is another method to learn. My next pair of socks will be tested on small 9″ circs just one at a time. That will be an interesting experiment.

I weep as a Rumbeller that my TLK B&TB ending is going to CS. I have a lot of anger over this. I’m cheated out of it. I wish I could say words that are not permitted here but I won’t.
I am 1000% percent sure that Hook’s kiss will break her curse. It would be more circular and appropriate for Henry to kiss Emma but it will never happen. They’re head-over-heels, totally in love with Killy Willy Poo and of course will give the kiss to her. Then we’ll hear so much crap about Milah and how he never loved her (despite being on a quest for revenge for hundreds of years). Talk about flipping tables. My only hope is that ratings continue to tank on this subpar storytelling.
I’ve noticed something lately. Most of the people I follow on tumblr are Rumbellers, but I notice more and more are posting vocally anti-CS and anti-Hook things. In the past they just kept quiet and stayed in the “Rumbelle bubble” but it’s creeping out more and more. People I’ve never seen talk about Hook are now reblogging Hook hate. It’s very interesting.

I have a theory on why TLK wasn’t used that some of you already know of. It’s sensitive and going around tumblr, also. It angers some Rumbellers that feel they were cheated out of their B&tB ending for the sake of another storyline. I think many of you can extrapolate what I’m getting at.
As for Rumple himself. As I’ve posted, it looks more and more like Bobby is going to be on the show only in a diminished capacity. I really don’t trust the writers to do justice to a human Rumple struggling to assimilate himself once more to mortality. Like mentioned before they don’t have the interest anymore to focus on character instead of plot. If they do wake and use him, it will only be in an advisory capacity on how to deal with DarkOne!Emma now.
