ParticipantI think David’s story was tied to another I can’t remember the name of the story but it was about two twins boys who switched places one was poor the other was a prince.
The story is The Prince and the Pauper.
To The Full Monty Fans, I still can’t listen to the song “Hot Stuff” without picturing the Unemployment line scene. I also think of the movie when I garden gnomes. Such a great movie.

ParticipantWell, in the Disney version, the ship only sailed because Peter had Tinkerbelle dust the ship in pixie dust so it could be enchanted. I bet if Neal left Neverland that way, whether it was stealing the dust or Tinkerbelle or her helping him. And I think that’s the way they’re going to get out of that place when the time comes.

ParticipantI heard they replicated main street Storybrooke inside the studio, too. They’re not abandoning Steveston completely, but I do think we’re going to be getting a lot less spoilers now that they’re filming more on the sound stage.
I guess only us rabid fans online have the Sneaky Fairy/Puppetmaster Blue theories ingrained in our heads.

ParticipantTalking about the rights to Peter Pan, Disney actually has rights to Tinker Bell that are separate from the Peter Pan deal. I remember reading awhile ago that it’s a completely different licensing agreement and they more or less have free reign on how they use her image and likeness, hence all those Pixie Hollow movies that are out and all the Tink stuff everywhere you go.
I’d love for Tink and Blue to be working together. That doesn’t negate her having a possible connection to Snow, either. Blue is written too ambiguously and that’s why a number of us think she’s sneaky and has her own agenda. If she’s not the ultimate puppet-master, she knows who is.
My mind immediately went to everyone’s least favorite episode of Season one–Dreamy. The fairies are up in the clouds. Maybe this is a key to traveling between worlds.
Off topic…I’m so jealous of Blue’s curls. Being someone with naturally pin straight hair that won’t hold a curl or even a hint of wave I have major curl envy.

ParticipantWhat is the BBC North and South about?
Jessie, I loooovve Road to Avonlea, too. In the U.S. it was aired on the Disney channel and just called Avonlea. I watched it for a long time and then missed the last season because we got rid of Disney channel, which was a premium station at the time like HBO and Cinemax.
RG, it might be gone. Netflix went through recently and culled a few thousand streaming shows from their rolls. It might have been one of the casualties.
I forget what I put in my Netflix queue, so it will be a surprise when it comes. It’s either going to be Jane Austen’s Persuasion (which is a favorite of mine) or Disney’s Fantasia (which I’ve never seen before).
On the fairy tale side, I recently saw Mirror, Mirror finally and didn’t like it at all. I was surprised at that. I’ll have to queue up Snow White and the Huntsman to see how it compares. I’m not a fan of Kristen Stewart so I’m prepared not to like it. Maybe I’ll be surprised.

ParticipantI do the Netflix through the mail because there are so many more offerings.
Oh my, I used to have the North and South and its sequel Love and War on video. I think me and my sister wore it out from years of watching it. It was hilarious years later to watch the commercials from the 80s. Don’t bother with the third installment Heaven and Hell. It wasn’t worth it and probably never should have been made. Those shows made us love Patrick Swayze years before Dirty Dancing.

ParticipantI watched part of season one of “Hart of Dixie” and then for some reason quit watching it. I’ll have to get back into it. I’m trying to catch up on “Grimm”. Right now I’m working through Season one. I’ve see the second half of season two, so I hope to catch up before the new season starts.
Netflix is a godsend in the summer. I’ve been trying to watch some movies that I otherwise would never watch. And I can catch up on the tv shows I’ve never seen.

ParticipantI went to Barnes & Noble today. Since I have an ereader and a tablet I rarely get print books, but I bought a reference book called Knit to Flatter. So far it’s a very interesting read, even if you’re not a knitter. It goes into detail about body shapes and how to dress to accentuate and camouflage aspects of your figure. My first step is a bit scary. It wants you to take a full body front facing and side picture and then draw all kinds of lines on it to determine things like narrow shoulder, broad hips, etc. I hate getting my picture taken, but I’ll do it. Maybe I’ll even get a piece of clothing that actually fits my figure for once since I can’t buy anything off the rack that does that. 😛
I did start reading, also, A Discover of Witches last night. I read the first few chapters on the Google Books preview. I don’t know if I’m going to continue or not. Has anyone read it by chance?

ParticipantI’m just ecstatic that they have plans for her. Last season they didn’t incorporate her very well into the plot. Nice to know they are excited about her storyline.
Is it odd that I’m more excited about the Storybrook plot than our heros in Neverland? I don’t know why, but I just am.

ParticipantI’m missing out on something. What was this bet between Josh and MRJ? I know it has to be settled at Comic-Con, but what are the details?
