“Ed” was one of my favorite shows when it was on. Very quirky and straddled the line between comedy and drama. The blonde mother on “Modern Family” was on it, also. She played the teacher the main character was in love with. Ginny was one of her students.

Didn’t she also play the “ugly” student in “Mona Lisa Smile”? Seems like she used to a penchant for playing the gawky girl when she was younger. Who knew that one day she’d be the “fairest in the land”. 😆

I just think there’s gotta be some story as to how Lake Nostos ended up bone dry, and if Regina wanted to get rid of the Siren, that could explain that.

I thought we already found out why Lake Nostos was dry. Wasn’t it because Charming killed the siren that guarded the lake to get the magic water for Abigail and Frederick? I thought her death caused the lake to dry up.

I get the feeling you didn’t like it. 😮 😆

I never watched that show, but it’s horrible when a show you love goes out in a horrible way. I still to this day hate the series finale of Seinfeld, but it’s not a show to take seriously anyway so it wasn’t that bad. One of my favorites, The Office, ended it’s nine year run a few weeks ago and it’s series finale was fantastic. It tied up lose ends, skipped ahead six months to see what everyone was doing, and had just the right amount of nostalgia and humor. I actually had a few tears in my eyes watching it, but in a good way.

It makes you wonder sometimes what writers are thinking when they end their show. It’s like they’re landing on their own sword sometimes. Then the show is forever tainted by that one episode.

Just ignore what happened and make up your own ending. I do that with the book “Little Women.” For me it ends when Laurie proposes to Jo and in my version she says yes. I’m still in denial twenty five years later after reading it initially that that floosy Amy ended up with him. I sometimes have problems. 😆

Don’t forget Aurora’s little line about Maleficent trying the same curse on her mother, who may be the original “Sleeping Beauty” in Once lore. We’ll get some Aurora and Phillip, but there is so much else going on with the show that I can’t see them exploring it in detail this season.

It was published pre-Grimm by Charles Perrault, who is also the author who made Cinderella famous and even then wasn’t the original. The old versions are twisted and weird, filled with rape and murder. Much darker than they’ll ever go on Ouat. Here is a link to the Wiki entry that summaries the history: Sleeping Beauty

Yeah, the Queen of Hearts isn’t even in “Through the Looking Glass”. The Red Queen and White Queen are essentially chess pieces and the whole story is one big chess match.

    So for the Alice stories:

Through the Looking Glass: Game of Chess

Just Rumple alone is enough to boggle the mind:

He falls in love with Belle from Beauty and the Beast, who ends up being kidnapped by the Evil Queen and while in captivity faces an attempt on her life by Captain Hook. Heartbroken Rumple, after Belle is “dead”, goes full tilt and manipulates Snow White and Prince Charming to create a True Love Potion and then manipulates the Evil Queen to destroy their world but not before he kills Cinderella’s fairy godmother and tries to take her baby. Oh…and his baby and Snow White and Prince Charming’s baby had a baby together. 😆

And that is just a small snapshot of history in the life and times of Rumplestiltskin. No wonder this show is hard for people to catch on to sometimes.

Just from hearing rumors, and there could be absolutely no basis for them, I do wonder if the reason they reverted August to a child was because of Eion Bailey. I know some supposed crew member posted last season that he was difficult to get along with. So if the rumors were true they could just solve the problem of Eion by reverting him back to a child, thus eliminating the need for the adult version of the character. It was still crappy writing what they did, but I wasn’t shocked after Gold brought it up to Neal and the background rumors about Eion. .

I have a feeling that they decided to just scrap the Jefferson/August connection. Has anyone actually seen the photos of them together that was cut from “Hat Trick”? I’ve heard all about them, but I’ve never actually seen them. But then we also have to figure out how August knew Neal was Bae. There are just so many unanswered question that might never be answered now that August is a little boy again (sorry, but that was the worst thing ever to happen on Once).

I know a lot of you don’t agree, and Eddy and Adam tell everyone she’s good, but it just keeps revolving back to the Blue Fairy. I don’t care how much they deny it, I think she’s going to be the ultimate manipulator/puppet master in the end. Maybe I’m too much into Rumple, but there’s something shady about those fairies.
