I can see Belle using it to check up on Rumple and Neal without them knowing, or vice versa.
It will be hilarious if the mirror and Ariel never show up this season. We’re all working out all this headcannon and nothing will probably happen like our theorizing.

In the Disney version, and some others, the Beast gives Belle a magical mirror when she leaves. In The Little Mermaid at one point, we see Ariel with a hand mirror, also. Just theories of connecting dots that probably won’t come about, but it’s nice to ponder and theorize.

I don’t think they’re going to introduce Atlantis right now, and I just get the feeling that they specifically said “mermaids” in Neverland for a reason. Maybe she was originally from Atlantis and banished to Neverland, but I think she’ll show up there.
It was mentioned in one of the Belle threads that she maybe she’ll be able to communicate with a mirror to Rumple since B&TB has one in it and Rumple will have to get it off of Ariel since she has odds and ends of things in the movie. Plus, I think Rumple and Ariel have a history with the Squid Ink.

Robert Carlyle used to do sessions like this, but he hasn’t since last season. I wish he’d go back to doing them. There were transcripts of them out in the webosphere somewhere. Maybe I’ll search later to see if I can find them.

My hope, and I posted this in the Hookriel thread, is that Ariel doesn’t get her happy ending and instead of dying she’s banished to Neverland as her penance. I loved the movie but was never a fan of Eric, so I have no problem with this turn. It’s just dark enough to work with what we’ve seen of Neverland. They can tie the original material in with the Disney version. Pick out bits and pieces of both versions. I think that would be awesome.

About the beans…have Eddy and Adam never grown a garden? Never grown a bean in a pot with paper towels in school? The only thing they need to do to grow more beans is go down to the local gardening store, buy some Miracle Grow and put it on that plant in Regina’s office to speed up the process. The more beans you pick, the more that grow back. Beans are notorious for being the one of the easiest things to grow in the garden.
Ohhh, I just got an idea…a wonderful, awful idea. (Sorry, Dr. Seuss just invaded my brain) What if they have to consult Moe on the plant? He has a flower shop. He should know all about transplanting and grafting and cuttings. Moe might be a source to consult to get that plant back in growing condition, and provide a way to reunite Belle and Moe. We keep harping on Nealfire and Rumple forgiving and getting back together, but I think Belle and Moe need to do it, too. He did an unthinkable thing, but it did come from a place of love, much like our beloved Rumplestiltskin clan. That’s still her father and she needs to reconcile with him. Much like Nealfire, before she can truly happy until this happens.
As for the mirror, that would be a great way to introduce Ariel in Neverland. Rumple calling out to the mermaid who once got him the squid ink. Darnit, now I’ve got a plot bunny in my head about Rumple, Ariel, the mirror and the beginnings of Hookriel. *get out of my head, get out of my head*
I’m conflicted about Gold turning into Rumple. I know the BF said the curse was specific to their realm, but we’ve seen him in another and he was still the Dark One. When he went to The Land Without Color, or whatever we call it, Rumple Von Stiltskin (hehe…he’s so ornery) was still the sparkly Dark One. So who knows what he’s going to turn into or what the nature of his original curse is now. I mentioned this on another thread, but he doesn’t have his leather pants. Are we ready to see the Sparkly One in a suit? It would look so strange. I just can’t help but think about what Emma’s reaction to him would be…and perhaps Regina or Snow could comment, “You should have seen him in the leather pants!” 😆

Might they do something at ComicCon this year? A little sneak peak? That would be a great time to reveal more about the show.

Lol, Heather. I do like MRJ clean shaved better, although he is attractive with the face hair, too. They sure did a great job casting the Rumplestiltskin clan, didn’t they! 😉

Now I’ve got this picture of the Blue Fairy relaxing back in her chair at the convent with her feet propped on the desk eating chocolates while Storybrooke is in chaos. I wonder what her position will be in town now that Regina and Rumple are gone. Methinks a bit of Rumple will wear off on Belle and she’ll be a bit suspicious of the BF, even though she did reawaken her memories. She’s been around Rumple enough to know fairies are not to be trusted. 😀 😎
