I liked the show Motive, too. I was kind of surprised because I usually don’t care for crime dramas anymore. There are too many and they all blur together. But that one is sort of different. I like how they reveal the killer and how the case proceeds.

I never got into Grimm, either, because of the crime drama aspect to it. I’m addicted to that, too, now. I’m currently catching up with season one on Netflix. I never watched it last year and only got into it when it came back for the second half of the season this spring. They did a split season and I liked how they showed a whole run of episodes together. I really wish Ouat would do that. We’ll have a longer wait, but then we’d have a run of 11 episodes together instead of the disjointed schedule of last year.

I do wonder if he is going to turn sparkly again. The thing about Storybrooke is that Archie hasn’t turned back into a cricket, either, and the fairies aren’t flying around. As to him only being sparkly in FTL, he remained his scaley self in Whale’s home–The Land With Color…or whatever it’s called. So I wonder if he’ll return back to his former visage. Won’t that be a shock for Emma! And imagine them finally finding Henry. He’d be like, “Grandpa, what sparkly skin you have!”. He doesn’t have his leather pants, though. I don’t know how I’d feel to see Rumple in Mr. Gold’s suits.

My complaint about the past season is, although we’ve seen some of Rumple’s mannerisms coming out in Mr. Gold, I never got my giggle. I just wanted one giggle from the stoic Mr. Gold in his stunning suits and colorful shirts and ties. Come on Eddy and Adam, make it happen.

Hookriel is definitely my crack ship of Ouat. I usually don’t go for non-canon pairings, but this works for me. My only other crack ship I’ve ever loved actually became canon — Lupin and Tonks in Harry Potter. I literally shrieked and cheered when I got to the hospital scene in Half-Blood Prince. Then I lorded it over nonbelievers for months afterward. 😆

I kind of wish that Hook and Ariel, if it would by chance ever happen, comes to be after the curse. The original story had Ariel never getting her prince. What if after she loses her love, instead of being turned into sea foam like in the original tale, she’s banished to this ghastly version of Neverland. Hook could know of her and she of him, but nothing ever came of it. Each broken by their loses. Just maybe Ariel never got sucked up by the curse since I assume there will be other beings in Neverland not taken to Storybrooke. So she could still be stuck in Neverland, forever doomed to her fate. I would love to encounter a smart-talking, sarcastic Ariel. It’s just twisted enough to work.

As for her casting, I really don’t think she’s going to be 16. Belle is nowhere near her teenage years and Aurora doesn’t seem 16 to me, although they are blurring the Sleeping Beauty lines with her mother. But I just don’t think they’ll make her a teenager when it would logically be better story wise to age her to her twenties. It allows her to have romantic pairings and be seen as an adult. There aren’t any other real teen characters on the show at the moment (Ashley is engaged/married with child so I don’t count her) so I can’t see them wasting storyline by making Ariel a teen.

Oh, and a word of advice…don’t tag your posts #fishhook on Tumble. It means something else that is definitely “NSFW”. I made the mistake and got a real shock. I’ve stopped using the phrase for them since them. 😮 😯

I remember recording this from tv when it originally aired and watching it and that Cameron Manheim was Snow White, and like Doc said Dan Fielding was in it, but other than that I can’t for the life of me remember the plot. I do remember liking it. I’ll have to Netflix it this summer.

My favorite non-Disney fairytale movie is still “Ever After” with Drew Barrymore. Oh my, that is just a sweet, sweet movie. Angelica Houston was just so great being evil in it. I don’t get into the horror versions of the fairy tales that are out there, but then I don’t watch horror movies anymore at all.

RC is fantastic no matter what type of facial hair he has. I do wonder if Eddy and Adam realize that they’ve given us all kinds of eye candy with Charming and the other younger guys, but women are still going for Mr. Gold. TPTB are still probably mind-boggled over this. Even with the bad teeth and gold skin, he just sends shivers up your spine. No wonder Belle fell so hard for him.

I think I’m going to have to watch SGU. All the pics I see of RC from that show make him seem like some kind of sexy professor, although with six years of University in my past I never had a professor that looked like that. So glad I didn’t or I would never have been able to concentrate on my studies.

Beards in general, I usually prefer a bit of stubble, but there are some men who just cannot grow a proper beard or stubble no matter how hard they try. My dad looked absolutely horrible with any kind of facial hair, but his brother would look odd without his full mustache.

I think I’m the only one here that prefers Colin with no beard. Maybe I just have to be perverse. Here are my picks:

    Colin: No beard
    Charming: No beard
Gold: Any way and every way

Did we even really see a 360 degree view of the room? I vaguely remember, and I could be totally wrong, Eddy and Adam talking about that room of doors and how they can really add any world they want to since we didn’t get to see all of them. I wish I could remember where I read about it, but it’s been over a year ago. Might have to go back and google to see what they actually said about the room.

I’m most like the Evil Queen. 😈 😆 Come on, someone had to say it. 😎

Seriously, I don’t know who I’m like. When I take those personality quizzes I’m usually like Henry or Belle. I love to read and think that being given a library, twice, would be better than any diamond ring in the world. But I’m not very adventuresome and would rather curl up with a good adventure story than actually be in one. I also can see shades of Rumple in me. Maybe that’s why I love him so much. Rumple, for all his faults, has so many layers. I don’t go around moving realms around and manipulating and killing people, but I can be very unforgiving and also on occasions very insecure.

Now my sister, she’d definitely be Maleficent, but don’t tell her I said that. 😕

Glad to see other people climbing aboard the Hookriel ship. It’s not very crowded right now, and probably doesn’t have much of chance, but the possibility is out there. As for Ariel, I hope they go the route of the original and her Prince marries someone else and she’s now banished, or punished, to Neverland. Hook lost his love and Ariel lost hers. It would be a great twist if Captain Hook ends up with The Little Mermaid. Eddy and Adam are just perverse enough to do it.

I think Rumple’s been to Neverland, also. The comment about the squid ink is just too much to ignore. I also keep going back to him telling (I think Emma) that his son has experience running. It just seems to me that Rumple may have had a close call in the past to finding Bae.

I think Neal will be trying to find his way back to Srorybrooke. Maybe the burning room will come up again. That’s a great theory. I think somehow he’s going to find out Henry’s captured and have to confront Peter Pan once again, just like he did as a teenager.

I’m betting this isn’t happening in “Lacey”. The promo was a mixture of the next few episodes. My bet is the Regina stuff is in “The Evil Queen” the following week.

Seeing Regina on that table reminds me of Wesley strapped up in The Princess Bride. 😆

RG, that a perfect way to end it if we’re going to be stuck with Lacey for awhile. I really hope he doesn’t revert to his dark side again. He’s made too much progress to backslide too much. He does have goodness in him. He just has to realize it is there.

I have to say that I think his speech to Mary Margaret about how he lives with what he’s done is more telling than anything. It was a raw, honest answer and shows he knows deep down the difference between right and wrong and that it’s a struggle for him. I just haven’t seen that yet with Regina and that’s why her redemption storyline isn’t working for me. Like an addict, Regina really hasn’t hit “rock bottom” yet. Until she does she’s going to continue to make the same mistakes.

The key is has Rumple really hit rock bottom, either? If he hasn’t hit it yet, at least I think he has it in his sights. He’s more on his path at the moment, but I also think he’ll never be truly reformed. He’s lived hundreds of years with the specter of the Dark One. Even if his personal curse is broken, I can still see it being a part of him. Not in the way it is now, but remnants will still exist in his persona. But I do see definite growth in his character. I just hope Lacey doesn’t destroy it.
