We still have the chance of seeing the Huntsman in flashbacks. Snow still has that whistle and we haven’t seen her use it, so maybe he’ll return once again when we actually see Snow, Charming and the gang taking over King George’s kingdom.

As for Hook, I was never happy about his casting. This has nothing at all to do with shipping, just my view of who Captain Hook is. In the movies and book, Captain Hook was meant to be a counterpoint to Peter Pan. Hook represented adulthood, growing up, and everything Pan was scared of. Most characterizations of Hook have actors with this imposing aura. He was one of the only villians I was really afraid of as a child (along with Cruella De Ville). When we found out he was going to be on Once and they said he was going to be a rival of Rumple’s, I was really excited. So when I saw Colin I was kind of disappointed. It has nothing to do with his attractiveness, but I wanted someone who was more of a contemporary of Robert Carlyle. Someone who could go toe to toe with him and we’d really believe they were rivals. The casting of Barbara Hershey for Cora was perfect, but they fell flat with Hook. Instead of a true rival, we have a school yard bully.

I couldn’t picture Jamie Dornan as Hook or any pirate, but I do think he’d have made a fine Robin Hood.

I started writing out a list, but then realized between Skin Deep, The Return, and the other episodes I’ve come to the conclusion that my hypnotizing moments is anything Jane Espenson has written.

He can’t kill the Charmings. We’d have no show, otherwise. The opposite’s true also. Emma can’t kill Gold, other than the obvious reasons, the show would have a big gapping hole and fangirls everywhere would riot. He’s one of the six main characters, counting Henry, so I can’t see any of them coming to any harm.

If something did happen to Belle, I don’t doubt he’d retaliate and wouldn’t care what deal he made with Charming, but nothing is going to happen. He’s hurting and heartbroken and not used to people doing things without an ulterior motive. He has no real friends. His threat is the only way he knows to ask, “Hey, will you look after Belle and make sure she’s fine while I’m away.”

Snowing and Rumple have an odd relationship. One minute Rumple was helping them, for his own reasons but still helping them, get together and the next they’re fighting. It does some that Dark One Rumple had a soft spot for Snow, and she for him. She looks at him life he’s this mystery she’ll never solve. She knows he’s evil, but there is some small part of her that can’t help but like him.

I can’t wait to see how he reacts once he finds out Henry is his grandson, that is if Neal if Bae 😆 . Henry thought he had problems at school before when his mom was the Mayor. What will they think when they realize that not only is his adoptive mom the Evil Queen, his grandparents the ruling benevolent monarchs, and his mother the curse’s savior, but his other grandfather is the Dark One. 😉

Ask just how cold is it in Vancouver. Sorry, not a very good question but it was below zero last night in Pennsylvania and I’m still frozen. I’m used to the twenties and even teens, but sub-zero is ridiculous.

I truly think that if Regina is Rumple’s daughter then Rumple never knew about it. I can’t reconcile a man who spent three hundred years devising a way to be reunited with his son knowingly corrupting his own flesh and blood. That would mean sacrificing one child for the sake of the other. It just doesn’t add up and would be very bad writing if he knew all along. I’m not againt him being Regina’s father, I just think he never knew it.

See, I think Neal gave Emma up that easily because he loved her that much. If he’s Bae, he knows the damage that magic can do and think that it has to be stopped at any cost, for all of their sakes. In a sense, he did the same thing that her parents did. They all loved her enough to let her go and had faith. Like the famous saying, if you love something enough, set it free.

I think they have a lot to work out. I don’t see them even attempting to pair them together this season, but I do think Swanfire/SwanThief is endgame. They’ve just got a lot of issues and aren’t in a place to do it this season. I also think it’s telling that JMo knew from the pilot who Henry’s father was, but wasn’t introduced until halfway through Season 2 and we’re still not positive who exactly Neal really is.

I think the Dark One curse is meant to die with Rumple. Wasn’t the curse Regina enacted called “The Curse To End All Curses”? They’ve already introduced a way to break it without passing it along by “True Love’s Kiss”. I don’t think they’ll just have someone stab Rumple so the curse is passed along to someone else.

I can see Cora biting it because Barbara Hershey isn’t a regular, but she is a big name. She could still come back for flashbacks like the Huntsman/Graham did.

Hmmm…maybe even connected by blood? *sorry, on my Rumple is Regina’s father kick and doesn’t know it*

Just as long as he doesn’t try to stake a claim over Henry, the poor kid needs a break

I see your point, but I don’t think Neal is going to walk away from his son. His own dad, in his eyes probably, abandoned him at an age not much older than Henry. I think he’s going to be really sensitive about the fact that he missed out on eleven years of Henry’s life and want to spend as much time as possible. We can understand and even applaud Emma’s giving up Henry for a better life. She was a teenager in jail with no money, no family, and no boyfriend/husband. But Neal is going to look at from the stance that if he had know he’d have stuck by Emma and damn the consequences (sorry…the “d” word was never a curse word in this connotation in my house..can’t think of another). He never would have did what his father did to him to his own son, if you get my meaning.

I do think down the road, the path to forgiving Gold for Neal is realizing the parallels between Henry and himself and Gold. Like, “here I am telling my son this, but I’m not listening to my own words.” I think Gold and Neal are going to have to live in the same town for quite a while before anything can be patched up.

I like that they used every area code in PA. I recognized the Western PA area codes, because one is mine, but I froze the screen and got out my phone book and they used every single one. So you can’t pinpoint one area of the state.

was getting towards the end of the list, searching the codes, I thought, “Please let one be from outside PA, just to mix it up.” I did find it interesting that the final one is for “New Castle”. All the others had a compass bearing, but that one just straight up said “Pittsburgh, New Castle”. If we’re thinking he is from Pittsburgh, because that’s where the repeated number is from, then it’s interesting to see that paired up with “New Castle.” New monarch? New ruler of a new land? We have a Newcastle here in Australia, but it’s all the one world, so it stuck out to me that the PA one is spelled as two separate words, especially when castles are kind of a thing on this show.

I wouldn’t read anything into the New Castle one. The area code isn’t just New Castle like that list someone posted says, it’s overlaid over a wide portion of Western PA including where I live, and I’m probably two hours away from New Castle.

I read somewhere, and I can’t remember what site it was on, that he’s from Lancaster, PA, which could mean the county or the town. For those of your not familiar with PA the town is located southeast of Harrisburg. My uncle lived out there and we used to get a kick out of some of the town names in Lancaster County….they have the town of Intercourse and then there is the town of Blue Ball. We used to giggle all the time about them. Mature, I know.

But maybe he really is from Pittsburgh. Ooohh, maybe he was talking to me. I’m the “Her” on the phone. Muuuhhahhahahaha. 😈 😆

Just let him age. I never got people worrying about the Harry Potter kids aging out because the book characters aged at the same rate as the actors.

Just hope he doesn’t do what my dad did. My dad grew a foot in one year. At age 11 he was 5ft and then by age 12 he was 6ft tall. Pretty tall for a 12 year old boy. He said he hurt so much that year that my gram would rub his legs and arms when he literally got “growing pains”.

But otherwise, how adorable is that pick. Henry and Grandpastiltskin. 😆 I love that in one pick Robert Carlyle is jumping in the air, you can see his feet are off the ground, and it looks like Jared is hitting him with the stick. So freaking cute. 😉
