No way they’re doing a spin-off. Rumple is key to the overall story on Once. Without him, the overall reason for the curse, there would be no show. The five major, well six if you count Henry, characters are always going to be the cornerstone of the show.

I agree with the others. They’re going to do the rollercoaster ride thing. While it will drive us nuts and make us want to tear our hair out, it will provide drama. I hope once Bae comes back in the picture, they’ll settle down on the Rumbelle angst and focus on the Rumple/Bae relationship providing the drama. There is so much they could do there. I could actually see Belle as the neutral spot between the two. I can’t see Bae totally dismissing and ignoring Belle once he comes to town. I can see him trying to ignore Gold.

I’ve got a few additions:

White Horse by Taylor Swift – This is so Neal/Emma. I always pictured it as a teenage Emma song, but after we got “Tallahassee” is seems even more so. What’s even more ironic is that this is so perfect, but at the same time she is a fairytale princess and doesn’t know it. So heartbreaking. Just read some of the lyrics.

I had so many dreams about you and me.
Happy endings, now I know.

I’m not a princess, this ain’t a fairy tale,
I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet, lead her up the stairwell

We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together once again a Taylor Swift song – I can see this being Emma’s thoughts about Neal. However, “the lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

Wow, you’d think that 1) I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, and while I like some of her songs, I don’t really consider myself a fan and 2) That I dislike Neal/Emma. Far, far from the truth. I’m a huge SwanThief/SwanFire fan, but the angst just works right now. I can’t wait for all the anger and emotions and fieworks to come out, because beneath all of it, I think she still loves him. That’s why it hurts so much.

Don’t forget that she never stopped the Ogre Wars. Morraine said the soldiers whispered her name around, but nothing ever came of it. Baelfire said it once and she appeared. If she’s the “original power” on the side of “right”, then why did it take the Dark One to stop the children from fighting and dying in the ogre war? I kind of gave her the benefit for Dream/Nova. Didn’t like it, but looked over it, but when she did this I started to look at her differently. Then the whole wardrobe thing and lying to Snowing and the War Council was just adding onto my grievances of her. I think she has her own plan, even it’s for the “greater good”, she has something planned that we don’t know about yet. I still think she’s the ultimate puppet-master in the end and Eddie and Adam are just trying to lead us astray.

My favorite, long before the Disney version was “Beauty and the Beast”. It’s probably one of the only ones where the heroine actually spent time with her hero before they went off into the sunset together. I remember as a child loving when the Beast would ask Beauty every night, “Beauty, will you marry me?” and she’d reply, “No, Beast, I will not.” It was only after she went back to her family and missed him terribly that she realized what had happened…that she had fallen in love somewhere along the way, too. So romantic!

I do like the original Snow White. I’ve never been that enamored of the the Disney version, after you get past the songs, but the original (okay, not original, but non-Disney) version is much more interesting. Not only does the Evil Queen poison her, but she only does it after the third attempt. Then she’s awoken, not by True Love’s Kiss, but by one of the traveling Prince’s men tripping over a tree root and dislodging the piece of apple. Interesting story, but I’ve never really considered it romantic.

Oh my, the Rumbelle moments. How romantic! Belle shouting, “You can’t keep us apart. I’ll never stop fighting for him.” Could that mean she really was trying to get back to him after he kicked her out in the Enchanted Forest. Ack. I just can’t.

I wouldn’t worry about Belle not being there. I suspect, based on the promo, that she’s with Gold doing something else. (And no, I don’t mean that in a dirty way so get your minds out of the gutter. Although…)

I do like that Emma invited Regina to the party, although, I don’t think it’s going to end well with her being there. Nothing to go on. Just a hunch.

I loved Granny’s comment about meatloaf. Gotta love Granny. I’ve said many times that I think she should be made mayor. I could see her kicking back with her crossbow resting across her lap. Who needs magic when you have a crossbow and know how to use it.

Don’t write fanfiction into the wee hours of the night and then go to sleep. I woke up with the weirdest Once dream.

First of all, I was freaking out because the episode was 3/4th of the way done when I realized I hadn’t recorded it, and I was so mad because there was Rumbelle kanoodling in it. I mean, for all the episodes to forget taping! 😆 When I realized what I wasn’t doing, I ran to my computer in my dream, where I tape the shows in real life, and hit record.

As for the episode itself, it was very strange. I remember that a bunch of people from Storybrooke, including some little kids I have no idea who they belonged to, were in a large swimming pool outside. It must have been a public one. Anyway, Gold and Belle were talking off to themselves and people kept swimming by telling her that she couldn’t wear “that” in the pool”. Even the little kids told her that, but I have no idea why and never did find out. She was wearing a modest one-piece bathing suit. So as they were in the pool, Gold leaned in as if to kiss Belle, only he was distracting her and pushed her into the water in the kind of horseplay you engage in when you’re trying to dunk somebody. So they were splashing and playing around. Only Emma, who was off toward the center of the pool, thought he was attacking her and swam over and started going after Gold. David and MM came over and he had to pull Emma off of Gold, telling her that they were only messing around and Gold wasn’t attacking Belle. Then on the way back from the pool, it was like a caravan parade of Storybrooke people going back into town with Rumbelle in the back trying to avoid the others and stealing kisses. Then the scene changed.

In other parts of the world, I guess the border curse was broken because Ruby and Regina were in separate cities, both adopting babies. For some reason, I think Ruby came up with the idea first and went off to a city to get a baby, and then Regina decided to copy her because she wanted to adopt a baby, too. I do remember the two women talking on the phone, but not much else. The last scene of the dream was Regina holding a newborn infant in her arms outside in some large city.

Then I woke up. Okay, it wasn’t a as strange as the dream I had last year of meeting The Dark One in Walgreens, but it was strange.

I voted for the following, although all have the likelihood of returning.

August
For sure he’s returning. The storyline is just too open and the last we saw of him in present day was opening his eye as a wooden man. You just can’t leave the story there. Plus, with Neal coming to Storybrooke, we need a confrontation between him, August and Emma. Someone is going to end up in the jail cell after that little encounter and it isn’t going to be Emma.

Lancelot
We never saw the body and Eddie and Adam said not to believe everything Cora says. So I think he’ll show up in Storybrooke at one point.

Aurora & Mulan
They never finished that story, either. They’re off on their quest and will show up again some day. Probably with Maleficent in the mix. I don’t think she’s gone for good, either, even though Emma stabbed her. In the Disney “Sleeping Beauty” the prince stabs her, too, so maybe she survived the first time if Aurora’s mom was the original sleeping beauty.

Others:

The Huntsman
Although Graham is dead, we can still see the huntsman, and have, in the past. We still haven’t seen Snow White use her little reed whistle he gave her in case of emergency. Plus, I have a feeling he’s met Belle, too.

That’s why I’m having a hard time with Regina being redeemed. Regina sent children to their death knowingly. I know people bring up the Graham slave thing and the killing of her father, but it’s going to take a lot for me to get over her actions in “True North”. But then I also have issues with the Blue Fairy for not stopping the Ogre War and sending children to their death, too.
