ParticipantI still say that Gold never lied to Emma in “A Land Without Magic”. He told her that her boy would be okay and he was. I think Eddie and Adam have admitted that Rumple has “glimpses” of the future, but essentially he isn’t a fortune teller.
I do think he has no idea that Henry may be his grandson. I just can’t see a scenario where he’d have that knowledge. We really do need to know how he came into acquiring Henry for Regina since we know he didn’t get his memories back until he met and heard Emma’s name in the Pilot.
As for thinking that Emma and Baelfire would find each other in this world, I don’t think this is the case, either. In “The Return” he more or less admitted to Archie that he really has no idea how old Bae is right now. He could be anywhere from 14 to elderly. All he really knows is that he designed the curse to bring him to a land where Baelfire is currently living. I think if Gold had it his way, he’d probably want Bae to still be 14 years old. The fact that he’s in his thirties means that he’s missed out on half of Bae’s life. While it’s not ideal for Gold, it’s fantastic stuff for us since that means that Bae could be Henry’s father and add another layer onto the story. Not only might Gold gain his son back, but he could have a grandson in the process. Something I bet he really never planned.
Wouldn’t it be hilarious if not only does his son come back and he realizes he has a grandson and is in a way in-laws with the Charmings, but if the hospital photo was real and Belle really is pregnant. Talk about drama! Never going to happen, but it would be dramatic and eye-popping.

What does all of that mean? I know what the “chipped cup” was in Disney’s animated Beauty and the Beast, but what is it’s significance in this format?
It’s significance on the show is that the chipped cup is a representation of Rumple’s love and devotion to Belle. After she left and he thought her dead he literally put it on a pedestal, removing what people presumed to be the Holy Grail, the most important artifact in Christianity, and replacing it with the chipped cup. After the curse brought them to Storybrooke, Gold still had that chipped cup despite the fact that for 28 years he had no memory of Belle. The fact that he kept it and cherished it is the cornerstone of Rumbelle fandom.
As for the Charming clan being separated, I’m fine with that if it means an awkward trip back to Storybrooke for the other side of the family. Emma, Henry, Gold and Nealfire all together on a trip is worth any separation from her parents. Plus, she owes a favor to Gold and her specialty is to find people. I think she’s going to floored at just who she actually finds. 😆

ParticipantI don’t think any Rumbelle fan really believes she’s pregnant. It just won’t happen. Especially this early in the series…and I’m a Rumbelle fanatic. From what I read last night it was just good natured joking, but there are probably Rumbelle fans out there who are convincing themselves. But look at what you said Bee…we never thought Gold would leave town this early or the curse would be broken this quickly. But, I say absolutely 100% no chance of a Rumbelle baby. If any couple gets pregnant on the series at all, it will be Snowing.
I’m almost inclined to believe the picture. It looks as if he’s in the process of sitting down with the cup and someone took an inpromtu shot. They said it’s pixellated because it came from an icon, but the original is small and looks fine.
I’m thinking maybe she has a mental breakdown of some type, if the picture is real. That’s something Gold can’t cure and would bring Archie into the storyline as her shrink.
My biggest heartache if the picture is real is Belle is once again in a gown in the hospital. She has to have some kind panic attack at the though of being in any kind of hospital again. Maybe Gold is staying and trying to reassure her that she’s safe. I can’t see her voluntarily wanting to stay in a hospital bed or gown, but who knows how this show will go. Everytime I think I have something figured out, they go in a better and even more fantastical way.

ParticipantAck! Rumbelle scene! Gold is tentatively crossing the line and Belle is holding Bae’s cloak and then he has it around his neck.
The hospital gown scene is on the Rumbelle tag if you keep looking. It looks fake to me, but the poster is adamant that it is real. Gold is sitting by her bedside drinking out of the chipped cup and not really looking worried. It’s really pixellated and I don’t think it’s real, but who knows. Supposedly, someone thought they saw Emilie in a hospital gown a few weeks ago and a few other reports had surfaced from set about her wearing a gown.
One more week guys. One more week.

ParticipantI picked “Tallahassee” because I’m Neal obsessed right now, but I think it’s a tie with “The Crocodile”. I think I have a serious problem with the Rumplestiltskin clan. On one hand, we get to see Emma really happy for the first time in her life and more information about her background and get introduced to Neal. On the other hand, “The Crocodile” is a Rumple-centric episode and I felt so bad for him all through the show. I know he’s the Dark One and everything, but everything about his story just breaks my heart.

ParticipantRumple also said, “I’m not looking for ‘twu wuv’…,” and then went on to say the most hysterical line on the show, “…I’m looking for a caretaker for my rather large estate.” I don’t think it was meant as a euphemism, but the majority of us Rumple/Gold fans sure took it that way.
Say “twu wuv” to anyone and they’ll probably start reciting the wedding ceremony from that movie. Argh, I loaned the movie out months ago and haven’t gotten it back. I really have an urge to watch it.

ParticipantThat scarf is really cute. I like the colors.
I started out geek knitting Harry Potter scarves. What worked out great was Gryffindor’s colors were my alma mater’s colors, so I could wear my geeky Gryffindor scarf to my nephew’s football games and usually just fellow fans would realize it was Harry Potter related. I like sock-knitting, too. It’s addicting, but I seriously suffer from one-sock syndrome. I’ve just finished up some dishclothes for Christmas presents and now I’m on to the Clapotis scarf/wrap pattern from Ravelry.
Speaking of Ravelry, is anyone on there? I’m addicted to it, but I have a bad habit of never taking picturers of my finished objects and posting them or even posting my projects. But when in search for a pattern or see something online or in a magazine, the first thing I do is go to Ravelry to see how others have done the same project. It’s probably my favorite site on the web. It’s sort of like Facebook for knitters and crocheters.

ParticipantI’ll try to get some pictures and upload some pictures of my dollhouse stuff. I really wish I had enough room to have a workshop, but I don’t. That’s one reason I haven’t been working on it. I’ve gotten some weird presents over the years. My parents one year bought me a hand sander and a dremel tool. Not usual things to get. It’s not a cheap hobby, either. But I usually make everything that goes in them, including the furniture, drapes and bedding. You have to learn to look at everyday objects in unusual ways.
There is one dollhouse kit that reminds me of Gold’s pink house. It’s discontinued and costs a fortune now, otherwise, I’d buy it and do Mr. Gold’s house. I do have one kit that I’m tempted into doing like Jefferson’s cottage in the Enchanted forest. It’s either going to be that or the bookstore from the animated “Beauty and the Beast” movie. It reminds me of fairy tales. Here is a pic of the kit:
I’m also thinking of Briar Rose’s cottage in “Sleeping Beauty”. So many possibilities. That’s one reason it’s still in the box.Keeper of Rumplestiltskin's and Neal's spears and war paint and crystal ball.

ParticipantMy mom was a quilter. Do you hand quilt with frames or machine quilt? Or both? My mom, who has passed away, and her best friend used to have an on going argument about quilting. My mom did hand quilting. She prefered to do lap quilts with a hand held frame, but we did have a large frame taking up space in the living room when I was younger. Her best friend loved to machine quilt. She used to try to get her friend to do hand stitching and would tease her that using a sewing machine was cheating and not real quilting. The goading never worked, but they both enjoyed quilting in their own way. Both of my parents were grew up in the country and came from mothers who quilted. They’ve both said it was not unusual to come home and have a house full of women having a quilting bee, working on the same quilt. I have some of my mom’s quilts that I cherish.
My mom also did plastic canvas. We used to have tissue box holders and other things around the house. My mom taught me, but I haven’t done it in years. She was into just about any craft there was. We have stuff to knit, quilt, crochet, needlepoint, leather work, woodworking, painting, etc.
I also like to make dollhouses. I haven’t done it in a few years, but I like to build and make 1:12 scale houses and furniture. The kind that you’d never allow little hands to touch in a million years. I’ve been getting the itch to get back into it, but I’ll wait until spring. All that sanding and painting isn’t a great thing to do inside in the cold of winter.

ParticipantI loved “Out of this World”. I always wanted Evie’s power to pause time. I remember one episode where she did it for a test in school and I always wanted to have that power because it used to take me forever to take tests. Yes, very nerdy I know, but I was in Middle School at the time. I just googled the show and realized that this was the show Steve Burton, who plays Jason on “General Hospital” was on. A few weeks ago it was really bugging me what show he was on before “General Hospital”. Turns out it was this show and “Days of Our Lives”, which I remember him on there, too.
I was never into “Hercules” or “Xena”. I’ve probably seen an episode or two, but I was never really a fan. I also didn’t get into “Buffy”, but that was because I liked the original movie and the series was nothing like the movie so I could never get into it. Talk about cheese-fest, the original Buffy movie was full of it, and had a young Luke Perry after his days on the soap “Loving” and before “Beverly Hills, 90210”.
