I can’t bring myself to hate Gaston, but I think the majority of that is because of the actor. He plays such a sweet guy on Psych that I just see sweet bumbling Buzz when I rewatch “Skin Deep”. I’m hoping he turns back up in Storybrooke.

Okay, heads up, Rumplestiltskin made it to the second round. His voting is back up on Saturday. He’s up against Sylar from Heros. We need all the votes we can get if we want him to go to the Sweet 16! So on Saturday, get out you laptops and smartphones and vote!

But if Regina’s intention was never to use Belle against Rumpel, then why did she capture her in the first place? I like the theory that Belle wasn’t actually captured, but like Jefferson, being locked up would be her own personal curse. Regina went out of her way to pull Jefferson out of Wonderland and lock him in his mansion for 28 years. So, I’m not surprised that she would do the same to Belle. However, I’m not clear on why she would punish Belle. It makes no sense. What did Belle ever do to Regina?
But we don’t really know if she pulled him out of Wonderland specifically. He may have found a way back to the Enchanted Forest before the curse was enacted.
See, there is still so much we don’t know about the fairytale land stories. I was just thinking today that all I really care about now are the Storybrooke stories, but I’m rethinking that tonight. Between taking back the kingdom, Belle’s capture, Cora, and whatever happened to the Mad Hatter, we still have a lot to tell. Add in Sleeping Beauty and Mulan’s story and there really is much more to tell.

Right now, we don’t really know when Belle was captured by Regina, just that at some point Regina got her in her clutches. Everyone has their own theories.
Personally, I think she was on her way back to Rumple when the Queen’s henchmen captured her. She had Charming at one point, I don’t see why should couldn’t have been holding Belle captive. Part of me thinks that she really did make it back to her father’s and he threatened her with the scourges, or even did it, and she escaped to go back to Rumple, but really I think after her talk with Dreamy/Grumpy she decided to return to him. We’ll just have to watch and see what really happened.
