I just hope we don’t have it coming up again and again about David/Katherine being together and then it coming back about MM and Whale’s one night stand. I don’t want this to turn into a soap opera, well…more than it is.

I think Kevin McKidd would have actually made a better Pinocchio and Eion Bailey a better Bae. 🙂 it really bugs me that August looks nothing like young Pinocchio. Although, I do love Eion, it still bugs me.

I was just rewatching part of “The Return” and Bae’s conversation with Morraine was touched on at the beginning of the thread, but one part really stood out to me that hasn’t been mentioned here. Here is an excerpt from their talk:
Baelfire: Now he’s getting worse everyday. But he said he’ll change back if I find a way. I just don’t know where to look.
Morraine: Reul Ghorm.
Baelfire: What?
Morraine: I heard about it when I was in the trenches. The other soldiers talked about it. Reul Ghorm is an ancient being that rules the night, the original power.
Baelfire: Bigger than Papa or Worse than Papa?
Morraine: Bigger than anything.
The part of her being one that “rules the night” isn’t something I really noticed before. I remembered her being the original power, but to me something associated with night is usually considered shady, evil, or bad. Daylight is good and strong. At least, to me that’s my association. I wonder why they included that phrase. Is that a clue that she isn’t all that wonderful?

I’ve been reading too much fan fiction, something I swore never to do after Harry Potter, but I got sucked right back into it with Rumbelle. But something clicked tonight when reading a few different stories. What if Rumple has to break his curse first before Bae can return to him.
Bae’s one wish, and his deal with his father, was for Rumple to get rid of his powers without killing him or hurting Bae. Those were the parameters set in the deal. He chickened out on the vortex, but really, I don’t think the vortex was a solution because that would only rid him of his powers in our world. If say, somehow he got back to FTL by some rare chance, he’d probably still have the curse attached. Bae wanted it completely gone. We know of only one way now for this to happen and fulfill Bae’s deal with Rumple…True Love’s Kiss. Right now, he’s still cursed we assume judging by the whole purple smoke monster thing even though he’s in our world. And the reason magic is back to begin with is True Love, so if he wants Bae to return, maybe he just has to open himself up completely to love, meaning breaking his own curse.
So maybe in the end the best thing to do is to just kiss Belle and sit back and wait for Bae to come back to him. Not going to happen, but I can dream.

I was really confused about this poll until I realized it was the FTL version and the other was Storybrooke.
I picked the Blue Fairy because of her curly hair. I have major curl envy. Mine is stick straight without a curl or wave in sight. My dad used to get me to eat my crusts off my bread because he said it would make my hair curly. It didn’t. 😕 I guess you always want what you don’t have because I’ve had people tell me they’d rather have my stick straight hair while I rather have a messy crop of curls.

Oh, I definately think this is going to be true. I think this season we’re going to have Emma involved with someone and we’re lulled into thinking “Okay, this is her true love” because that’s the underlying theme of the series and then BAM! Henry’s father shows up and wreaks havoc on her, her situation with Henry, her relationship, and her whole life.
I will disagree that I don’t think Emma was Graham’s anything. It’s been hinted that she has magic in her so I think that just released something in Graham. I’m totally unconvinced of love of any form besides friendship between Emma and Graham. If given time, it might have developed into something, but as it stood I don’t think they had it.

I agree with you, hjbau, about the songs recently not being as good, but I was really shocked at how much I loved Tangled. Even though it was computer animated, it just felt like the older disney movies. The songs were catchy, the story was good, and I really enjoyed it, when I didn’t think I would.
Oh, if they do Flynn Ryder, they could bring Zachery Levi to play the part. Hehe. Seriously, he’s the only one to do it, and Chuck is now off the air. Come on, scoop him up.

I can’t help but be leary of any fairies right now. There’s something fishy going on in that convent of theirs. Too many unknowns. Like who was the bad fairy that gave Snow the dust in Snow Falls, and why did Rumple target Cinderella’s godmother for her specific wand when he could have hunted out others. Plus, all the suspicions of the Blue Fairy. I need answers.

I haven’t seen it, either. I meant to catch it on the Disney Channel last month when they were playing it, but I missed it. I was a little disappointed they didn’t go with the original fairy tale, but then I haven’t seen it so I really can’t make an opinion. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen Mulan, either. 🙄
