I like to gush over there, but it seems here discussions get a little more in depth, but I love both places.

Oooh, I just thought of something to call. I just posted it on another thread and don’t think it’s been mentioned.
I’m calling that Mr. Gold and Baelfire go by the same first name in our world. 😉
We don’t know Gold’s first name unless it is Mister, and I don’t believe that, and I don’t think that Baelfire would go by his regular name in our world. While it may be fine for FTL, for someone growing up in our world that becomes a name worthy of an a**kicking. So I think they share the same first name. 😀
Rumple will slap another sword this season.

I think his name is important. The creators have said that we’ll find out Charmings name at one point and said the same thing about Gold. I found this on Tumblr that was posted a few days ago where someone asked about just this question:
What is Mr. Gold’s first name?
Adam Horowitz: Hmm… Keep watching.
Why just say “keep watching” when they could just tell us. I need to know. It has to be important if they won’t reveal it yet.
I wonder what Baelfire is going by in this world. It can’t be that name. Oooh, just a thought, what if it’s still an unusual, not strange, just unusual name, and that’s Mr. Gold’s first name, too. And then Emma hears it and connects it to her baby daddy. 😮

It does seem assumed and taken for granted that Bae is Henry’s father. I just hope if he was planned to be the father that the writers don’t say “Oh crap, they’ve figured us out, lets not make him the dad anymore.” Hopefully, they won’t do that.
One side effect, is we’re going to think any male from the age of 14-45 (or older) is going to be Bae. When I was watching “The Return”, at the very beginning after AFHV’s finished and it’s credits were rolling sometimes they roll right into OUaT, so I was watching and the credits were done and then BAM! Gulliver’s travels scene came on and the first thing the guy said was “I want to go home” and he had brown hair It’s Baelfire! 😮 I even picked up the phone to call my dad’s girlfriend who watches the show to to say “It’s Bae, he’s back!” and then this came on:

Then I put the phone back down. 😥 Don’t tease me, commercials. I was so ecstatic that Bae was back already, but then I realized it was just a commercial. What a letdown! 😆 In that 5 seconds I had the whole August/Bae working together plot in my head without even watching the episode. Boy was I wrong.

Well, I have too many tea sets I don’t use and a box full of beer steins my brother once collected so I don’t really need any of those. So…I guess I’ll pick the windmill. I need something for my lawn and it will remind me of Charming’s confusion and his pretty red lips.
Can’t I just buy Mr. Gold?

But Bae, I like how a lot of us have assumed and take it as fact that Bae is Henry’s father, didn’t even know Emma was pregnant. I don’t think he’d do that.
One of my thoughts is that it’s just fate, or actually the curse, that brings Henry to Storybrooke. But I know we’re going to have a more complicated story. I bet the Blue Fairy is involved in there somewhere.

Just wait until she finds out her baby daddy’s father is Rumplestiltskin (yes, it’s my dream). I think they’ll all need family councilling.

That’s why I think that the real reunion will be nothing like the August/Gold confrontation. I don’t think it’s going to be a happy thing. My theory is that August already knows Bae and they planned everything out. August was dying and needed a way to survive and Bae needed someone to do reconnaissance work before he makes the decision to return. It’s just the way August said “Do I even look like him?” You don’t say stuff like that unless you really know the person you’re talking about. I know most people think it was the Blue Fairy helping August all along, and she may have been, but I think Bae has been in the background, too.
