.Hehe, my apple thoughts through the series have been, “Sure, they’re pretty but I bet they taste horrible.” I’m not a Red Delicious fan. They’re very pretty but lack any type of flavor. Give me a nice yellow or green apple of various varieties and I’m fine. But reds are not my first choice. As for baking a pie or tart, I’d go for a nice Granny Smith and/or Macintosh.
Now I’m hungry. *goes off to have apple butter and toast for breakfast*

My theory is that Bae spent time in Neverland at one point. Even if he came to our world first, maybe he followed someone to Neverland. Remember Peter Pan visited regularly to listen to stories and didn’t he take lost boys with him back to Neverland like he did Wendy and the boys? If he did live in Neverland for a long time, maybe he gained an education just through life experiences.
However, I think he left Neverland at one point and decided to stay in our world and ended up being Henry’s father. 😆

I saw a screenshot of the hand and it looks feminine to me. Also, notice Mayor Regina has a jacket on when she’s talking about the apple, although I couldn’t actually tell what color it was to see if it matched. You can also barely make out a metalic type wristwatch peeping out of the coat sleeve. I think it’s Regina.

It should definately nab one of the creative arts awards for costuming alone. But I’m with you that I don’t think they’ll really get any nominations for acting. Although with each actor, except Emma and Henry, all playing essentially double roles, it really should be a shoe in. Too bad like you mentioned, Onescape, they don’t like genre shows too much.

I saw that on another site yesterday. As much as I love Robert Carlyle, I would have put him up for Supporting Actor. This cast reminds me of Modern Family in how nobody is the sole main character. In that show’s case, they all submit for Supporting Actor/Actress. I think that should be the case for this show. It’s such an ensemble that it’s hard to pick out leads.
That saying, it would be highway robbery if he isn’t nominated. I was reading about the competition and there are a lot of cable shows that will probably beat him out that usually dominate the crowd. There really isn’t room for a newbie, sadly. They’re usually really predicable in who they nominate. I think if any on the show is nominated he should be tops.
I was also really surprised Lana Parilla is under Supporting Actress. I thought they’d have her up for Lead Actress.

I picked Snow and Charming, even though Rumple is my favorite character. I’m more facinated by his relationship with Bae than Belle, although I can’t wait until he finds out Regina’s been keeping her locked up in the looney bin. Snow and Charming just have something. Maybe because we’ve spent more time with them, but I do love their scenes. Now if only MM and David could get their acts together.

Not an object that made me think about the show, but the show did influence a dream I had the other night. I was shopping at a small store and Rumple, in his flamboyant outfit and full makeup, was coming down the center aisle from the back of the store. I remember scooting to the side of the store to try to hide from him because I didn’t want him to notice me. Then the next think I remember thinking was “Ohhh, he looks just like Steven Tyler.” 😆 Then I woke up. I was listening to Aerosmith that weekend so I guess they both seeped into my subconcious.

I’m sorry, but Voldemort would zap Regina immediately. He’d have no use for her. He’d Avada Kedavra her butt before she could even open her mouth.
Didn’t they already give us MM and David together before snatching it away? It would get repetative if they keep that up. I think it would be more interesting to find out what happens after “happily ever after” than breaking them up to go with other people just to reunite them later on. To me, that would be lazy writing.

I picked Rumple/Gold, which based on my initial reaction from the pilot is surprising. I did not care for him at all in the beginning and hoped he would only have a small part, but little by little he won me over. And I’m not talking about the “Skin Deep” episode. It was a gradual slide and by “Desperate Souls” I was already hooked on him. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the same actor played in one of my favorite movies, The Full Monty. I think Robert Carlyle is big reason for my conversion, along with a lot of other people.
