There is supposedly going to be a scene where MM and David are kissing and there is an explosion in the background as they unite. There are set photos backing up some kind of explosion or disturbance of Red and Granny that looks like they are getting blown about. I don’t if it’s really connected with the kissing scene or not.

But the death could come in another scene.

I keep thinking about the show listening to my iTunes playlist. There is one song by Sarah MacLachlan called “Do What You Have To Do” that just reminds me of Rumple…actually Belle thinking of Rumple. I mean, come on, the first line is “What ravages of spirit conjured this temptuous rage. Created you a monster broken by the rule of love. And fate has led you through it, you do what you have to do.” I used to think of Remus Lupin (sigh…I’m still not over that one. 😥 ) and Tonks, but now it’s transferred to Rumple. There is also a duet called “Unloved” by Jann Arden and Jackson Browne that brings to mind Emma and (if it would ever turn out he’s Henry’s father) Bae.

I’m convinced it’s going to be Mr. Gold. When taken all together, the few clues we have has to point to him.

Then Ausiello posted this on TVLine, always a really reliable source. It has to be referring to the EOnline spoiler from the exact wording:

Question: Any possibility you could give us some scoop on Fatality No. 3 on your May Sweeps Scorecard? Specifically, how likely is it to stick? —Ryan
Ausiello: Given how integral this person is to the series in question, I’d venture to say the odds of it sticking are slim.

So, who fits these descriptions? Taken with some spoilers we’ve heard kicking around I’m convinced it’s Gold involved in maybe the reported explosion. However, the only way he can be killed is with the dagger. So if he’s killed another way there is no way it’s going to work. He’s lived for centuries, it’s going to take a bit more to kill him. I will admit to being very depressed when I first felt like it would be Rumple/Gold. He’s my absolute favorite, which when thinking back on my initial impression of him from the Pilot is shocking. Never thought watching that first episode he would become the reason I watch the show.
