Nice potholders. Hope mom uses them often.
And I didn’t go back to my sweater, yet. I ended shoveling the car out of the snow and going to JoAnn’s. I bought a skein of Paton’s Classic Wool in Harvest colorway. I split the skein in half to have two balls of it and cast on some socks. Doing two socks at time with Magic Loop. My circular cable is driving me insane. It keeps kinking up on me. One way to fix is putting it in boiling water for a few seconds. That worked a little but not much. I might try it again.
I will get back to my sweater. In fact, I’m gonna do a few rows in a bit so I don’t totally forget where I’m at but I needed something else. Plus, my feet are cold and we’re getting another bought of subzero weather. Wool socks will help. 😛

So I needed a break from my cardigan. Decreasing lace in pattern, even if it’s just a simple bobble, is tiring and involves lots of math and equations to maintain stitch count. So I finished my dishcloth I began in December for my sister for Christmas. Oops. Really, these only take two days to make but I set it aside and never went back. Finished it up today. I’ll make a few more before I send them on to their new home. Not the most impressive bit of knitting but another WIP is off the needles. For some reason the color came out a bit orange in the picture but it’s really a true red, no orange in sight.
I also went upstairs and started searching through boxes and things looking for my winter boot. I can find one but not the other. I never did find the boot but I did find a bunch of yarn I completely forgot about owning. I really need a better way of organizing.

Evidently, I’m iced into my house. I just got a call to not even attempt to leave despite my little one lane road being clear. PennDOT never came through and there is a layer of ice covered by a layer of snow on the main road through the country. There was no school so PennDOT probably thought they would ignore it since the buses didn’t need to travel it today. An upside of unemployment is I don’t have to go anywhere anyways.

I’m surprised we’re all not stocked up on lager after all those Sam Adams commercials we were bombarded with for three nights. 😉

And, yes, Rainbow, how could you not watch SoL and not come out a bit smitten by Ben Barnes. 😉 At least I picked a guy who wasn’t half-monster this time…although he was a rabble-rouser.

Nobody talks to each other. The characters say words to each other but nobody ever TALKS. I watch Grimm, too, and that is a show with action, plot and yet they talk to each other. There is still subterfuge and plotting, but at least there are heartfelt moments. Too many of Rumbelle’s and other character’s interactions on the show happen “off screen”. That needs to stop and my biggest gripe about the show.
I still love Rumbelle, I do, but I’ve realized that I love it more in fanon than on the actual show. It’s long past time that Rumple’s curse needs broken. Flat out, no cleaving (stop cringing RG) or trying to maintain power but a true break of the curse. I can really see no true future for them without the curse being broken.

No, this was an online poll, nothing to do with Twitter or #AskMRJ. Actually from what I gathered SF wasn’t even part of it. It was a poll from some website about ships. I don’t know if it was a multi-fandom poll or just Once related.
There were a lot of Once related questions that MRJ ignored. Glad he did and took the SoL ones instead. I did snort when he answered the one about if he liked tacos. Old habits die hard.

Oh, and what kind of shipping poll was out there? I saw something on Tumblr about OQ and CS fans ganging up and trying to destroy SQ and Rumbelle. SQ shippers were livid and siding with Rumbelle. It wasn’t really even in the Rumbelle tag (which for the most part keeps out all other ships). Never did find out what the hullabaloo was all about because I hightailed it out of the general #ouat tag as soon as I could.
There is the reason why I stay in #knitting and #yarn tags on tumblr now and don’t venture out of them for the most part. *pets her yarn and continues knitting*

The majority of them were SoL, though. And you knew he had to answer some Once related questions and he’s not going to give non-PC answers to them. You have to pay the game no matter what field you work in. I did get out of the #AskMRJ tag because some of the CS fans were making me a bit angry and just followed the answers that popped up on my feed. He also talked about Terrier (I have to find a way to watch that) and True Blood.
My MRJ stalkers (i.e. Ranisha and Rainbow), is he still filming “The Finest Hours”?
Heather is in TWIZZLE heaven right now and the Ice Dancing is coming up. Ice Skating is on NBC live right now and tonight. She said we’ll never find her on camera though from where she’s sitting.
