JosephineParticipant
That’s cute for Frozen.
My owl hat is done. I wish I’d have done a non-stretch cast on. It may be too loose. If it’s still a bit loose after blocking I’ll go and weave some elastic thread into in to solve the problem. But here it is in all it’s poor lighting. After I block it and sew the eyes on the owls will pop out.

JosephineParticipantps he wanted to tear some walls down tooโฆ.
This is Freaky Friday Halloween. We watched that exact cartoon today in school with my kiddos! ๐ฏ What’s the odds of picking out a cartoon from the 30s and watching the same day you posted the pic of the same one. And I swear I didn’t see it in this thread, either. There are a series of three with the Big Bad Wolf in Disney Silly Symphonies: The Three Little Pigs, The Big Bad Wolf, and Five Little Wolves. We watched them all today. I’m spooked on Halloween.
Grimm tonight. Yay.

JosephineParticipantHmmm…I guess I’m in between RG’s tent and Ranisha & Baevil. I don’t think we’ll ever get Neal back but if we do I want him full-out evil. Like emerging from the Vault of Goo and full on Dark One. Love Live Baevil!

JosephineParticipantActually, it’s the Eve of All Hallows Eve. All Hallows Day (Or All Saints Day) is November 1st. But I shall be watching once again “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” I do love me some Peanuts, although Heather is our resident #1 fan ๐
RG, between this and the catcall video and all the blacklash against the organization putting it out, I, too fear for humanity. I had no idea what GamerGate was until this week. I play Candy Crush and Bubble Witch and that’s about it so I’m not the target market for gaming. I feel so lucky I didn’t grow up in a male chauvinistic household. My dad worked in a male dominated field as a steel worker, and he would tell stories about women being harassed and belittled. He always said he didn’t care who did a job as long as they did it and said a majority of the women working there did it better than the men he worked with. Even in my household we all shared equally of the chores…laundry, dishes, lawn work, etc. But the more news stories I see and the more comments I see attached makes me wonder about society. It’s sad.
Awww. Puck. I hope Baby Bison is enjoying her time with Puck.

JosephineParticipantI have used five needles, but I usually go back to the four needles.
I can knit Continental, but 99% of the time I knit Left-Handed (Mirror) English. My stitches move from the right needle to the left and hold the yarn in my left hand which also holds my working needle. I can do the knit stitch in Mirror Continental, but I have trouble purling. Someday I will conquer it.
If I’m trying to teach someone to knit conventionally (right-handers) I’ll do it Continental. I have trouble with crochet because I have to do it lefty but I have so much trouble holding the yarn in my right hand since no matter what way I knit it’s in my left-hand. I’m getting better but it’s slow going.

JosephineParticipantGaultheria, have you ever done “magic loop”. I did it for the body of the gloves and using DNPs for the fingers. I prefer my DPNs but I do love it when doing two things at a time. I suffer badly from “one sock syndrome” and magic loop is really nifty to get a pair of mittens or socks done at in one swoop. But I do like going back to the DPNs, and people seem really impressed in public at maneuvering four sticks at one time. ๐

JosephineParticipantI lost a knitting needle. One of my dpns I was using on the fingers of my gloves. I’ve dragged that thing from home to work and shopping so I have no idea where it could be. I should have an extra one but I cannot find that one, either. *sigh*
Maybe I should just start a new project until I can buy more.

JosephineParticipantYou can believe your emotional truth. I can continue for my emotional truth to be that the writers are piling on the emotional drama and never letting anyone deal and itโs making their story look inhuman and too concerned with Shiny Toys (copywrite RG).
This has been a valid criticism since the beginning of Season two. We’ve yet to see real heart-to-heart with Snow/Emma like in Season One. They talk to each other, they’re friendly, but they never discuss feelings, issues, etc. EVER. Nobody ever talks about feelings. I don’t care who you ship, if you don’t ship, or what. We need less action and more talking. I go back to Grimm because one reason I love that show is that they talk. They sit and actually discuss problems and emotions. They have action, but they talk. Heck, even Sleepy Hollow they have discussions. And it’s getting frustrating to watch all the action and nothing else.

JosephineParticipantI know it’s the wrong fandom, but I had to share the magnificence of Mison (aka Ichabod) with everyone.
