ParticipantRG did you have to go there with knitting. ?.
He could always take up crochet since it’s “easier”.

ParticipantI read romance and cozy mysteries. I also wrote a romance over the summer which I am still editing.
I admit to reading my fair share of romances, too. I need more info on your book..like a copy. đ
Does fanfiction count as literature? If so I’m a voracious consumer of literature. đ
It’s getting that time of year to do my reread of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.”. It’s a short read and I try to do it yearly.

ParticipantOkay….I haven’t done this in a while.
Liked:
I got a huge laugh. Like I seriously laughed a lot during this episode. I know I wasn’t supposed to but I couldn’t help it.Disliked:
Everything.
Seriously Ruby had a bean. :O What about THERE ARE NO BEANS ANYMORE! Sorry, but that is the worst reveal ever. She would really leave her Grandmother, who isn’t young and her only family, to go back to the Enchanted Forest on the off chance she might meet some other wolves? I thought we had that story line in season two and she decided it wasn’t for her. Sorry, I don’t buy she’d leave her friends and family because she felt lonely and odd. The town is filled with fairies, dwarfs, magical people, and who knows what else. She wasn’t an outcast. I’d rather they said she was upstairs like they do in Soaps.
There was no point to this episode. Total filler, and not in a season one type of way that Dreamy was. It was just pointless.

ParticipantCan we take a moment to appreciate Nateâs torso?
I may actually need several moments.
This was actually discussed last night.
So much tacos last night…and Wes got a painting. (RG and I sometimes share a brain and say the same thing).
Wes has lost his innocence. Not in a biblical sense, but he had in Season One this naĂŻvetĂ©? Humility? Just this quality and now he’s just damaged. He’s not going to handle finding good birth mom well.
(Good news is I’ve stopped calling him Dean Thomas all the time.)

ParticipantOne thing most people don’t realize and is a bit of a pet peeve of mine is that the original novel Alice Through the Looking Glass does not take place in Wonderland. Alice does not return to the same place in the second book. It’s another world/parallel universe. In the first book, Alice’s experiences are in Wonderland. It’s a set in the fashion of a game of cards. In the second volume, Alice goes to a different world that is on the otherside of the mirror where everything is opposite. It’s a game of chess she must play to get to the end.
I realize nobody really cares. But if you ever play trivia you might win if you know Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum never were in Wonderland. đ
The best version I’ve ever seen is an 80s version that was a tv miniseries. It has a few songs but minus them it’s the most faithful to the original out there.
That said, I will probably watch the Tim Burton version at some point since I saw the first.

ParticipantI called Oliver being a goner early in the episode. Sorry, but Connor is in a nice relationship. It’s a ship we like so of course there’s going to be pain and heartache. We ship it so it’s going to crash and burn.
So Phee, what’s your opinion now? Still on that “No way Wes is Annalise’s son” train? I will postulate an alternative. I’ve believed Wes is Annalise’s son since the beginning of season one, but if they don’t go with Wes being Annalise’s son then he is Eve’s. Annalise and Eve were in a committed relationship at one point in the past (and casual whatever currently). They’ve known each other since law school. What if Wes is Eve’s. Annalise helps Eve set up the adoption and feels a responsibility toward him because it was her lover’s son. She say “It’s him” not “He’s mine” or “My son”. He has a familial connection to Annalise. We can’t deny that now. But is it as her son or Eve’s son. đ

ParticipantOur Harry Potter reread seems to be on hiatus right now with tv taking up a lot of time, but I technically am reading this, just at a slow rate.
I haven’t been reading much lately. I have the bad habit of hyperfocusing and when I’m into crafts I ignore reading. Right now I’m knitting a sweater and socks so that means no books.
I do have the Jonathan Strange novel in my bookcase. I bought it years ago when it was first released on the recommendation of a friend. I think I only read the first chapter and got sidetracked. I’ll have to dust it off and read it.
I keep promising to read Jane Eyre, too. I admit the Bronte sisters aren’t my favorite authors but everyone tells me how much I’ll love Jane and Rochester so I have to read it.

ParticipantâRumple smashed Chip. âkay.
âAccording to everyone in SB, if Rumple loses his life thatâs an acceptable price because heâs had so many chances. But Emma we totally have to save! OMG: get this through your heads, you hypocrites. The darkness has been canonically established to be a sentient entity that can corrupt even a SAVIOR. What does that mean? It means that Rumple was just as much under the influence of that darkness as Blessed Emma Swan. So it means we try to save BOTH. Because they BOTH matter and are family! COME ON. Remember when he sacrificed himself for his love and his son? For the town? He is worth fighting for, just like Emma.
âRumple didnât injure himself for his son, not even a little bit. Retcon. Horrible character assassination retcon. He did for Bae and he did it because he was scared. That mix of fear and heroism has always defined Rumple, itâs what made him complex and the writers just reduced him to a singular concept: cowardice. Malarkey. Absolute malarkey.
âRemember last week when Rumple talked about how he did everything for his boy! This show canât even stay consistent from week to week, let alone arc to arc!
ââI killed Nealâ *Emma doesnât even acknowledge any of this*
âNo. More. Magical. McGuffins. For. The. Love. Of. Everything.
Yes to all this…and your whole post but seriously THIS.

ParticipantI read it about a decade ago. I remember the overall plot but forget the details to talk about it.
I started the sequel and lent it out but never got it back so I never got beyond the beginning.
