Changed my avatar. A bit small but it’s after midnight and I must go to bed so it will have to do for now.

I think they created this character and then lost interest in him when they were able to “play with new toys”. I hate to be a downer but I get the idea they don’t particularly like to write Belle, either. She’s there because she’s a fan favorite, but otherwise, they love Rumple tortured, evil and alone. Can’t have a twisted imp that has a loving partner and his son, now can we?

This still won’t make me a CS fan. If I have to ship then I’m now officially on a MonkeySwan train if they insist on putting Emma with someone. She was happy for 8 months. The only other person to make her happy was Neal. (Too bad he’s on another show). But seriously, I hope they have her alone. She always says Henry is her happy ending and some people just aren’t meant to be tied down to one person.

Oh, god, RG, it sounds even worse seeing it written out. How did they ever think this was a good idea in the writer’s room? Seriously.
I know I’m in the minority but I don’t like this divided season. Season four will definitely be the last . I can’t see the way they’re going with the storyline that ratings will ever bounce back to season one levels.

Okay, I took time off, fought with a ball of yarn, and decided to come back and post. Why did they bring him back just to kill him? Seriously. I just don’t understand it. It would have been so much more impactful to end it at the end of season two. We had the heart wrenching moment. He could have fallen and MAP find him dead with a picture of Henry on him or something. That I would have been okay with. This was just numbing.
I’ve been meh about the show all week. The only thing really holding me onto fandom is you guys. I love talking in chat to you. And I still think the idea to make a few weeks after the final to ban chat about the show a thing would be fantastic. A break for at least a week or two.
It’s not even shipping. This has become more of a Nealfire thread than Swanfire. It’s the crappy way they treated his character. Just crappy. It really doesn’t give me any hope for how they’ll treat Belle, another often overlooked character, in the future.
*shakes head*
Now time to wait for the ratings. This week was The Walking Dead finale. Next week Game of Thrones starts back up combined with this I wonder what will happen to the ratings. Yes I know the other shows are at 9pm but everyone watches at odd times now. So it’s a numbers game now. Hmmm…

I get frustrated with crochet. I can chain at that’s about it. I get frustrated, throw down my hook and think, “I could be knitting instead. This is too stressful”. I have problems controlling my yarn because it’s the opposite hand I use in knitting. I will master it. I am learning more and more crochet stuff for knitting. I can do a crochet slip stitch seaming and a crocheted cast on. Someday I’ll learn the difference between a Single, double, triple, etc.
Knitting is simpler..,there is only knit and purl. 😀

I thought my mug was unthemed until bestie reminded me that in fact, it did tie in – Small World debuted at the World’s Fair which was in NYC (Queens.)
My parents were at that World’s Fair. I remember them talking about riding It’s A Small World there before it ever hit Disneyland.

I need Belle’s engagement ring to contain the chip missing from the cup. My parents used to do lapidary as a hobby when I was little and it’s amazing what a regular stone tumbled and hand polished can look like, even ones out of your yard. They could do that with the missing chip.
In my wacko mind, I like to imagine also that Rumple’s opal ring, that he’s never ever without (even in that cage) is really the chip he carries with him everywhere (yes, I know it’s not really the right color…but don’t ruin my fantasy).
