I love my Neal, but I wouldn’t bet money on his staying put on the show. He’s still my second favorite guy (Rumple will always be #1). I just sometimes feel like we’re such a small minority. I don’t know, maybe I’m hormonal, maybe I’m cynical, but after JKR came out with her little anti-Ron bombshell I trust nobody in the media. 😛

That was very interesting, KFC. But I think each individual has to ask themselves do they really believe Adam and Eddy will stick to their original vision. Remember that they may have planned the Lincoln Memorial since the trip was in the planning stages, but they’ve been interested in seeing that potato since they were kids. (i.e. Peter Pan is their favorite childhood story). It might have been their original intention just to make a quick stop off but they might enjoy the neighboring sites and everything else surrounding it and completely forget to go on to the Memorial. *shakes head*

It’s damage control. I said this somewhere else, but Adam and Eddy are writers of a tv show, they’re not keeping state secrets. It’s a tv show. I think we give them too much credit with their levels of sneakiness.
The majority of us have our opinion of who it is. Every leak, tweet, picture, set report just riles everyone up and either has people saying it supports their choice of who is gone or trying to find some way to rationalize why X isn’t on set anymore.
It would be interesting to see the reporter’s take. Will she stand by her writing or say it could have been a mistake? We don’t know yet.
I’m really interested on how this break and the Spoiler of Doom will affect ratings. Those not in online fandom have no idea what’s going on with the death, but the overall morale of fandom is down. The show comes back in four weeks and I’ve yet to see any commercials promoting it. They should be starting that already! Will the casual fans come back? We’ll just have to wait and see how the ratings go.

I think sometimes though we give Adam and Eddy too much credit for sneakiness. It’s a tv show, not state secrets. I admit I’m in the camp that Neal is a gonner. I’ve accepted it. I still absolutely adore SF and am the biggest Neal fan out there. Lately, Neal is the only thing I reblog on tumblr because I feel he never got enough love. (And I’ve lost followers over it too, but so what). But all the leaks are adding up. Unless there really is some massive plot twist, which I don’t think is coming on this quarter, then I’m in the mind frame that they change their original vision for the show.
Adam’s idea of damage control makes everything even worse. 😛

So by that logic Cinders Hook and Belle are safe since they said we would get more BG on them.
Yeah, I got that feeling too. Belle definitely but I really think after that lightning round Hook is safe, too. Which leaves one last man standing.

By this time we all have in our head who we feel is going to die. No more amount of talking is going to convince someone else to change their mind. You’ll rationalize why X isn’t on set or why Y can’t be killed off. All of us just have to realize that someone is gone and for many of us it will be a favorite character. It happens. Will the show be what we want from here on out? Nope, but things change. Shows change directions. There are many shows that I adored in the first season or two then grew to dislike as it aged. Other shows just got better with age.
As for myself, I have it in my head who is going to die. Do I like the direction Once is taking? Not really, but I will continue because I do like other storylines and I’m curious what is going to happen. And I’ve grown to love my obsessive friends in chat. So I’m going to step back from the spoilers. If I see something in chat, it won’t bother me, but I’m not going to be hunting them out. The Olympics is starting tonight, and after it ‘s done there are only a few weeks left until the show starts. So I will concentrate on mocking Curling and not agonize over this spoiler of doom.

I downloaded the ShortBlogger app and no more anti-Neal crap in the SwanFire tag. The official tumblr app is terrible and doesn’t filter out anything. Now I can go back to my Neal love.

I’m beginning to think those first promo shots were sabatoge. Everything else from those shoots were good but they released the ones with the worst pictures of all. Makes you wonder why when they had those wonderful headshots.
