My heart is just not in a good place after this episode. With Emma, Henry and Neal being separated and Rumple gone to who knows where and Belle sobbing on the ground, I don’t know which way is up.
Must get some sleep.

. I refuse to wish away my vacation to Boston next month, the Olympics, and the start of spring training for my Reds, but DANGIT ALL TO HECK, this is going to be along hiatus!!!!
Spring training starts in February. 😀 And you can always watch Curling with me and RG. We plan on live chatting the Olympics since our “Sleepy Hollow” and “Dracula” will be done by then. We shall get through this together.

So here’s my idea of the timeline coming up. Bolded is what already happened. Italics are promo things:
- Emma and Henry drive off as the new curse engulfs everyone
- Everyone else is transported to the EF with memories intact.
- They decide to travel to safety of someone’s castle but the Wicked Witch flies above them.
- The Wicked Witch has taken over Regina’s castle.
- The Wicked Witch enacts another curse that sends everyone back to SB, still with memories intact. (or maybe she does something that makes the curse reactivate…something happens.
Time passes while all this is happening…
- Emma and Henry wake up at a new apartment and Hook arrives at door
- Hook tries to convince Emma about everyone needing help.
- Somehow Emma gets her memories or something back and goes with Hook and Henry to Storybrooke.
Where my Rumple is nobody knows 🙁
Other observations:
- Whoever is on that hospital gurney is a male because Dr. Whale asks, “Who did this to him?”
- Robin may or may not be sheriff based on his jacket.

Okay, I pulled out my dvd and it’s definitely a new scene. In Manhattan she has a black coat and red scarf and in the promo she has a red coat and black scarf 😀

I want to say the dreamcatcher scene is different but it looks the same to me. I have to pull out my DVD and rewatch the episode.

Phee posted this in another thread, but it has Swanfire feels so I thought I’d comment here, not to tick off the CS shippers:
She has to have the Bug because they were physically in it as they drove away from SB. She did not physically have the swan pendant as she drove away, and the scene of her in her pjs at the end, it looked like she was only wearing the other, ring pendant, (I know the swan was on a longer chain, but I just thought it interesting that they went to the trouble of showing that she was definitely still wearing the ring pendant, though we couldn’t see the swan). Assuming Neal had it on his person, (headcanon: it was in his coat pocket and he had it in his hand when the Curse hit and took them all away), could he still have it with him in FTL? And if they can get that thing to cross realms, could that be a talisman trigger of some sort for her?
Oh, I love this. He still has the pendant and I can see that happening. His part of history actually happened, Emma has false memories, so Neal would still have the Swan pendant. Now that they’re separated I want to see him wearing it. Maybe somehow Emma sees it and her feelings for him come back.
That pendant better make a reappearance or I will add it to the list of grievances I present Adam when I go all “Kill the Beast” (Not really…just the sentiment behind the song) on the writers 😛

Okay, is the scene in Manhattan the same as the one in the promo? In chat they’re saying it is, but I don’t know.
I do think the reason Hook is there is because Emma would put up her wall and slam the door in Neal’s face. She’d never contemplate anything he said.
Someone said something interesting in chat. I don’t know who it was so if you post here, take credit. We know that Adam has said that Neal did not turn Emma in. This person said what if it was the Darling Brothers? So I got to thinking. What if they were tagging and watching Emma, since they knew about the baby and her life? What if they knew what Emma was doing and thought that was a way to get her away from Neal. What if him or August never made the call? Probably long shot, but it is a interesting crack theory.

I’m getting sick all ready of the CS parallels and the episode has only been over for a half hour. I find it bad writing, too. I just don’t see chemistry between them. CaptainFairy actually had it coming out the wazoo…even if you don’t ship it, it was strong. But I just don’t get that spark with Emma and Hook and I’m glad I have you guys because sometimes I wonder what I’m missing that the rest of fandom sees.
I’m just getting this niggling feeling that Neal and Snowing sent Hook there. I don’t know why or how, but I get that feeling.
At least we got a hug at the end. *so full of emotion*
