There are so many things that make me love OUAT. I love Emma and her story, this is the reason I kept watching after the first episode. At first I was really focused on Emma but there are so many interesting and well-written characters in the show! With the time I’m enjoying the fairytale aspects of the show more and more. All those jokes and references hinting to the original stories.
Every sunday evening everybody in my family is going to bed like ‘ Oh, no weekends over. tomorrow is school/ I have to work…’ and I’m super happy because I know when I wake up I can watch a new episode of OUAT ( and I’ll wake up super early to watch it even before breakfast 🙂 ) And when I’m home in the afternoon I know I can come here and read all your opinions and all the news and spoilers.
[adrotate group="5"]Didn’t emma say that her Foster parents gave her away because they had their own Child?? How would that fit into the story? Did they just tell emma this Story so she could understand it?
Why did they cut it out? it’s better than all the other Snow scenes (well can’t say that about Reginas scenes because she basically has only one…) in that episode together! I would have liked to see it.
This Episode was much better than last weeks! I loved the scenes between Emma and Elsa! JMo really looked like she was about to freeze 🙂 . They were great! And it was fun to see Charming and Hook working together to save Emma. And I liked Anna and Charmings backstory, even though Bo Peep was really ridiculous. Anna was much better than in the last episode. Now I’m curious about how David and Kristoff met.
I agree that the story about Davids father wasn’t what I hoped for. I liked the Camelot theories. And I don’t want the next character with parent issues. Do we know any charakter with perfect parents? Okay maybe Baby Neal, but exept for him? And Snow wasn’t convincing either. Which mayor would try to solve electricity problem on its own? everybody would just call an expert and let him do the job. And in her last scene she comes in, her daughter is sitting nearly frozen in a chair with Hooks arms around her and she doesn’t even notice! she could have been at least a bit worried about Emma. I understand that Regina might have wanted to be alone, but she would have never send her son a message that she doesn’t want to see him. And more important not via a bird! They’re in storybrook she could text him. Rumple and Belle could have had some more sentences…
I know Watcher tried to rationalize the door a page back, but if it turns out that there is a door that leads to the Land Without Magic that you can use to just stroll over here without the aid of a dark curse (or magic bean)…eh. I am going to have many issues. MANY.
It never made any sense, so I wont have any issues now. Where’s the difference between Emmas wardrobe and this door? the tree for Emmas wardrobe had been in the EF for a long time, so Rumple could have used it to get to this world. And other people managed to travel between worlds: Regina, Jefferson, Cora, Hook, Ariel, Baelfire, … only Rumple didn’t. It’s never been logical to me so I just hope for a good story for the snow queen to be in the 80s!
I think most german titles are good. Some are just really far from the original, like 3×18 Schmetterlingseffekt/ butterfly effect or too long. And I agree: Grün ist das neue Schwarz/ Green is the new black is my favourite international episode title too!
I haven’t heard Alice german voice yet. But the original is always the best, so I wont watch it in german.
Modern Hook looks good. really good. But I wonder why everyone has to wear a leather jacket on that show!
threads for each charakter and not only their ship. For your example: With a thread only for Neal and not for Neal as SF and the opposite of CS I’m sure there would have been many CS shipper talking too. But they never read the SF thread…Are there older threads for each character existing which aren’t used, so no one remembers…?
