If Snow is 28 when Emma is born, she’s 27 when she marries David. If Regina is 27 when Daniel dies, that makes her 45 when the curse is cast, and puts her birth year in 1939 (which sadly doesn’t correspond to the nice Disney Headcanon). 28 and 28 is doable (means moving around more dates, and I think the 0th year is what keeps throwing me off since I have to do negative numbers to work back from the curse constantly) but also makes Regina that nice 47 in frozen time and means she’s now almost 50. …which is about how old I have Rumple when he becomes the Dark One.
Between the fact that Regina does seem younger than Mr. Gold by more than a couple of years and Young Regina just seems younger than Emma at 28…I dunno.
But Snow at 28 when the curse is cast is also problematic because it means that 15 years pass between Regina’s marriage to Leo and most of the action we’ve seen of Bandit Snow. We know at least 8-10 years passed before Regina killed Leo, but it is a lot of empty time with things all crowded up in the three years before the curse.
Eh, it’s numbers. I’ll play with them and see what they look like.

Mrgh. I suck at math. Currently I have Snow at 27 when the curse is cast. I’m going to have to look at how I calculated that.

Okay. Emma says she’s the same age as her parents. That makes Snow’s age 28ish when time is frozen. Maybe she’s only 27 when she marries Charming though? We know her birthday is in winter, probably early March (I have March 7th but think it should be March 3rd for various reasons).
That only buys a year but maybe.

I agree and I like that…but that makes Regina 18 years older than Snow. I’m not sure there’s that big a difference in their ages. As that statement was made in the second episode (around the same time that Snow accused Regina of poisoning her with an apple because she thought Snow was prettier than her, which doesn’t fit into our knowledge of things now at all), I tend to give it slightly less weight than other evidence. Looking at other people who were around in that period–Eva, Leo, Henry, Cora, and Zelena most specifically…

Day 7- Favourite Male Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Leroy/Grumpy–hands down the best comic relief in the show, and yet he’s got fantastic and complicated relationships with the main cast. I only wish they’d use him more–his friendship with Belle, his feelings about Blue, bring back Nova/Astrid, etc.

Yep, Tamara. What was most frustrating was that she was never really given a backstory–we know nothing about who she actually IS. In fact, the earliest we see her is timed to occur when time starts moving in Storybrooke–at which point she appears to already be working for Pan (but why? nobody knows).
We don’t know what Neal really saw in her (other than that she was pretty and appeared interested in him), we don’t know what really happened to her grandmother, we don’t know why she hated magic, we don’t have any clue what she saw in Greg or he in her.
Even A&E admitted the taser wound up a little ridiculous. She really only existed as a plot device, and not even a necessary one–Emma’s walls were already up and there was already a pirate to come between her and Neal. Oh, and Neal was already afraid of meeting with his father again. And their history was complicated enough.
And everything she actually DID in the plot could pretty much have been done, and with more substance, by Greg.

Oooh, late to the party but I want in:
Day 1- Favourite Female Regular Character (Past or Present)
Belle. 100% favorite. She was my favorite before I got hooked on Once, and she pulled me in even further when she became a regular. (and then they never use her…but in the rare times she has screen time, she shines. Also…her wardrobe. OMG.)
Day 2- Least Favourite Female Regular Character (Past or Present)
This is hard…I actually like all of them a lot. Snow, Regina, and Emma all occasionally get on my nerves but all of them are also awesome, rich characters whose actors put so much work into them. If I have to pick, though, I’ll pick Regina–mostly because the recent OQ arc bothers me a LOT (which isn’t Regina’s fault, and definitely not Lana’s, but it’ll serve).
Day 3- Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present)
Rumplestiltskin. RC’s given him amazing depth, he’s always fun to try to figure out, and even when he’s frustrating as heck, I still can’t help loving him. I think killing Neal and cutting all the S4A scenes where he actually shows any affection for his wife/grandson/son really hurt his character’s development some, but I’m hoping that there’s a really good arc coming for him as he tries to get back what he’s lost now.
Day 4- Least Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present)
Even harder…I mean, I love all of them. I’m going to go with Will, because while I loved him in Wonderland, they haven’t given him any purpose in Storybrooke yet and he’s been a regular half a season. And if they’re cutting Belle/Rumple scenes for him…no thanks.
Day 5- Favourite Female Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Aurora, who edges out Mulan ever so slightly because of personal reasons. Part of Aurora’s appeal for me is that her strength is highly feminine–she doesn’t need to be the warrior to be a fierce fighter. One of the things I appreciate about Once is that the girls can BE girly and still battle on (and the girls can be less girly and still gorgeous too). Also, Aurora’s side story needs to be expanded on.

Been a while since I had progress to report, but:
-Everything from s3 is now timelined.
-All dates have been changed to match the Land Without Magic dates, since we know they are synchronous and enough dates are set in canon to make educated guesses now.
-Adjustments to Snow’s age and Eva’s age have been made in light of information from S3 and S4 (Snow is 10 when Daniel dies, Eva is 16–a guess but a little older than she would have been based on earlier guesses–when she meets Leopold). Regina’s age is also adjusted, to 19 now when Daniel dies, with Cora at 20 when Zelena is born.
–Flashback events from Snow Falls have been expanded out to parallel better with the Alternate History from Snow Drifts and There’s No Place Like Home. All events from the alternate history are prefaced with “Alternate History” to clarify which version of the timeline they exist in; parallel events are, as much as possible, recorded in the same place.
–There are now over 500 entries on the site timeline.
–There are now 3051 entries on my scary spreadsheet timeline.
Work will commence on S4 as time allows. I’d love to have 4A done before 4B hits but I don’t believe that will happen.

Probably Rumple…but there are other characters famous for temper issues…I dunno. I kinda want it to be Rumple though. Cuz. Rumbelle.
