It occurred to me today that Elsa & Gold make pretty much the same choice: Themselves & their families over the whole town’s chance to survive.
Funny how Elsa still is “pure of heart” enough to make a wish and masses of the fandom hate Gold now…(it would have helped if they’d kept in the cut scenes where Gold actually demonstrates the fact that he loves Belle & Henry…)

In the pictures for this week, DQ’s holding what looks like two rocks. I think those are the memories she stole from Emma and Elsa respectively. And probably the flashback of Emma we’re getting will be those missing memories.
I don’t believe Henry & Belle are immune to the spell, just that they can escape it. However, they are the most protected people in town, which is silly if they’re immune :p

I don’t think they’re immune to the spell, but DQ’s not going to stop Rumple from taking them out of town.

That’s…awful convoluted as a theory. I mean, the straightforward explanations make a lot more sense and seem in tune with his character. Why would he save the fairies or Hook? Or stop the fairies from making a cure if he didn’t want their power for himself?

Also, extraneous thought: “I don’t have time for everyone else.” Rumple’s been so done with the whole Rumple Routine since the first time he thought his son was dead. It served him well in the EF…but now he’s tired of everyone running to him for help all the time. He’ll still make deals, on his own terms, but…he’s just DONE.
Still. What’s he in a hurry to do? I get that he wants to get his power and get out of there before DQ’s plans come to fruition, but why? He’s got an exclusion for his family, he’s immortal, and he’s got almost everything he needs to keep his power. And he’s not stopping DQ…why?
There -has- to be something more to either his plans or his relationship with DQ.

Also, it’s very, very interesting that we saw Blue in an episode with a wishing star. No way that’s just a coincidence.
