Having the door transport her to 1982 is also slightly problematic, unless a bit more time passes. We’ve seen that Anna & Belle’s journey happens before Roland is born; the curse happens in October 1983. He’s four at the start of S3. There seems to be a year missing here somehow.

Yeah, it means he believes she IS wrong which means he doesn’t believe that about himself.
Anyway…if they REALLY needed filler…I know a character we didn’t see at ALL. Just saying.

He DID say that. When Emma said Belle believes he can change, he said he fears she’s wrong. He doesn’t believe he can.

He doesn’t believe he can change. He doesn’t believe it matters if he does. He gave his life to save his son’s and it wasn’t enough. That’s a pretty big blow.
And I think that while he couldn’t refuse a golden opportunity walking in and begging him to take the power he needs to finally be free of the dagger…he didn’t want to hurt Emma. That’s why he DID give her the choice.

I don’t believe he wants to take over the world, either. I do believe he wants an ultimate power…and possibly a way to get his son back.

It’s still not the same as the situation with Robin & Regina. And Robin…I liked him so much before 🙁

The door was created for Ingrid. The apprentice said the sorcerer doesn’t make deals (and isn’t a big fan of Dark Ones) so I don’t think that would have worked out for Rumple.

–That I was right and it WAS Hook who needed to be a victim for the hat thing to free Rumple…I just didn’t see how yet.
–The delicious set up of Rumple controlling Hook now…it’s got some serious potential, given their history. Plus those two together are awesome. I’m still trusting that ultimately, Hook will not die and Rumple will be saved by true love in the end…so…it’s going to be fun to watch the mess in the middle.
–Rumple & Emma’s conversations. Those were impressive and powerful and beautiful and confirmed everything I believed about how Rumple sees Emma…he’s too addicted to refuse the power when it walks right into his shop on a swan-shaped platter, but he respects her and gave her the choice in the end. He even told her she didn’t need to change.
–Henry’s conversation with Regina. Also beautiful and a good message overall.
–Emma’s magic celebration with her family. I do love her smile in those rare moments when she’s truly happy.
–Anna being Anna with Elsa. It was pretty much perfect.
–1982. I love solid timeline evidence. But that means she should look a lot older, shouldn’t she?
Disliked:

–Rumple going back on deals. He didn’t completely, I guess…but…
–Neither Belle nor Gold overhearing Hook’s impassioned confession when it was the PERFECT setup for some serious drama. I just felt let down at the end of that scene.
–Everyone seeming quite happy about OQ and nobody except Regina even remembering that Marian’s frozen and still married to Robin. And NO, Snow, you were NOT with a married man, you only believed that because Regina MADE you believe it with her curse. You were with your own bloody husband, whom you cheated on with Whale but again you were CURSED. You know, by Regina.
–And….no Belle. I’m just going to go sulk in a corner here, I guess. Maybe timeline her wedding or something. *sigh* A whole extra hour without my favorite character (who IS a regular, I get that lots of people don’t see enough of their faves but mine’s a regular…).

There definitely is, and a huge debate has raged (in this very thread, I believe) about where the curtains scene fits in with Lacey.
Despite the fact that the curtains are open for Anna and Zelena (grr, I suspect this was a visual decision rather than a storytelling one), I still hold onto the theory that the curtains scene precedes Robin Hood Hunting. However, I don’t think there’s any definitive evidence one way or the other in the show yet (and the lack of curtains evidence makes this worse).
As for where Snow Falls falls…well, even before this I was pretty sure based on other episodes that Snow Falls had to be during Skin Deep. I did a whole bunch of maneuvering to figure it out, but it’s already up on the timeline that way if you want to look. Basically, I have those events happening about 2 weeks before Belle leaves the castle.
