ParticipantI wonder if NL being dreamland might be why Aurora could not connect?

ParticipantI didn’t catch that about Felix…I’m very curious now about Mr. Evil Lackey!

ParticipantI am totally on board the train of thought that Jafar wants to change the past. I think RQ wants to bring back someone who she thinks died. I am not sure the person is dead.

ParticipantThat is true, her actions were further in the past. Yet it was yesterday Tamara shot Neal, and there was at least a moment of dismay on Emma’s face to learn that woman who she thought killed Neal was dead. There was no big grin of “She got was coming to her!”. This was not because Emma didn’t care that Neal died, as we saw Emma being upset with Snow and Charming for not just Henry’s being kidnapped, but that Neal died. I’m still working out how Emma attached blame to them for that, but she dropped his name there on the boat. So I feel Regina has a long way to go still in terms of compassion for others, as opposed to constantly justifying her own actions in terms of what others “forced” her to do. I do think she made progress when talking to Tinkerbell though. I just think her smirk hinted there is more work to do.

ParticipantThat could be, or it could be revealing that cure that leads to the thing that shall not be named, guess we have to see which way they go with all this

ParticipantAt the same time though, to the extent Hook is genuinely helping the others, then Neal’s anger might blind him to getting help from someone who does want to help and there might be again that situation with Rumple. I said in another thread that trust is a two-way street, but the more the power is imbalanced, the more the person with the power has to bend and wait for the other party to feel fully comfortable with everything. Hook and Neal will be in some ways equal now, whereas they were not when pre-teen Bae dealt with Hook. Rumple has magic and powers beyond but Hook does not. So I hope Neal will be a bit more forgiving I guess, despite on the one hand reasons to be nothing but distrustful and angry.
It would show a LOT of maturity on Neal’s part to treat Hook with respect for how Hook is helping the others. Of course, here on a shippy thread, I can add that it would be very SF -feels if Hook does turn out to be less honorable and above-board than everyone has thought and Neal’s the one to catch him at it.
I am sort of wondering here, what if Hook finds Neal’s coat or scarf and then has a dilemma to tell the others this? If he feels torn between his feelings for Emma, and his feelings for Bae? I believe they will explain he sort of thinks of Bae as a little brother, rather than as a straight-up son, given their age differences. and of course the sneak peek that Liam is indeed Hook’s brother…..
I didn’t think I’d be excited for this next episode with the hype centering solely on a triangle, but now I am very excited because there is the hope of real character development, not light-switch good guy to bad guy, bad guy to good guy.

ParticipantI think Liam does die. I’m still not sure of the key they showed when they hinted at the episode title, because I think it might be a reference to some kind of betrayal or frame-up in this episode. My guess is Liam somehow does something wrong, and Hook ends up bearing the stigma/pain/cost of it that forces him into piracy.
Or its Pan who cuts a deal with Hook, because here is the timeline thing I cannot figure out. We meet Pan before Bae leaves for Nl, and Pan is Pied Pipering it up in the FTL. He has not yet formed his band of lost boys, but it sounds like he does come from NL already. At this point, Hook and Milah are off sailing around. I feel the events with Liam obviously predate Hook meeting Milah, so the Pan they meet does not have his whole set-up with the Lost Boys yet. We are going to be seeing very early Pan, and I am so curious to know what/when/how Pan and Rumple first met too, as it was not when Rumple was the Dark One.

ParticipantI thought Hook and Liam would be brothers! Yay I guessed something right.
