Hm maybe that is why Rumpel wanted Charming to hide it in her as opposed to somewhere else.

After reading through everyone’s thoughts, I’m now leaning towards the speculation that Peter Pan’s Shadow is up to no good–and that Hook and Bae have a mentor and protege type relationship. I think “Storybook” London is adjacent to Neverland, and like the Land without Color, it is not “Land without Magic” London in the past.

Milah does make a sacrifice in leaving her son behind, although strangely we see no regret in her at any time. .

We see regret when she says there is not a day she isn’t sorry for having left Bae (but not so sorry that she came back, then again, it is not like she could work out visitation and a divorce. Sometimes I see a parallel to Belle if I think of Milah as a forward thinking woman hampered by the feudal culture they had. Only you know, more selfish and way less heroic than Belle.) If you want a plot bunny, think about what it must have been like to be Milah–pregnant and alone when the whole town turns against her because of rumors of what Rumpel did on the battlefield. Even after Bae is born, I imagine a scenario where she had a rough time and Rumpel’s return seemed like cold comfort since it confirmed the rumors. Ah angst….

Any way we get so little of her side of things, that she seems more awful.

At this point, I think the difference is they were not enemies, but mentor type thing.

Yes that is odd that he knew her. More backstory!

Hm,guess I forgot about the elevator or assumed Hook operated it for her–but he was standing back by the counter. Well there goes that theory.

Guess it is something left open far as exactly what he meant that they saved him if it wasn’t the band they already gave him then.

But that Tweet….makes me 🙄 even science can work at a distance….(mutters to self about quantum entanglement)

I agree but would add on #5–Hook says GOAT saved him. He had the cuff modified to take her magic already before she betrayed him. So it could be another tool, or they came down and tasered Mal–or maybe it was that once the cuff started working on Regina, her magic faded away. Perhaps it was not an instant shut down–so her “sustaining” spell on Mal just wore off once the cuff kicked in, and that’s what he meant by GOAT saving him.

Yes, the potion, as well as the fact Regina didn’t slice her with the sword…good points.

IF she wasn’t lying, then A&E were lying on the official podcast, where they said “of course she’s lying.” I was leaning toward thinking the organization (which I just assumed existed) being responsible until I heard that–but now I thinking how could she be lying but still telling the truth in a way? I think she told Graham to do something with Flynn or she did something to him where she didn’t know the results of what she did. So she is truthful that she doesn’t know where Flynn is now–but lying that she let him go.
