ParticipantAre all the pictures of the cast on the boat actual pictures of scenes? Or were they just having fun exploring the set? The other thing is we know the boat has inside rooms. So it is possible that some characters are “in” the boat but will not be shown “on” it.
I don’t see them abandoning SB entirely though, as filming scenes there probably requires a lot less than effort and cost than elaborate sets/make up/costumes/cgi of a fantasy world. Then again, if they are just running around a dense wood, that’s not so bad I suppose.

ParticipantAnother possibility, is he is the bad elf /gnome that was one of the crowd of “darkest souls” that Regina gathered to cast the curse. He laughs when Regina puts the horse heart in and the curse doesn’t work, and she turns him to stone. Then the next scene shows him in her garden in Storybrooke as a statue. They never followed up on any of those characters, so not sure why they might now with so many other characters already added into the story. So I still think it must be how Rumpel is depicted in cursed form in the book.

ParticipantIf he has a Dragon form like malefecient, it is a parallel/connection between Aurora and Mulan. I want to see Mal again too. Both seemed to die prematurely, but maybe both are not really dead? Maybe they can have a dragon fight. 😆

Whoo-Hoo Neverland here we come !!!.
The pics from the set are amazing. We have the majority of the core cast on board Hook’s ship. My question is where is MRJ & Jared Gilmore ? Is it possible that whatever trouble that is envading Storybrooke thanks to Tamara & Greg puts Henry at risk ? If that is the case could Emma & Neal have devised a plan to protect Henry by having Neal take Henry to Neverland ? Is that too far fetched of an idea ?
I could see a few things, but I don’t see Emma sending her son there without her. She is learning to trust Neal again, and a few days in NY is one thing, but a magic realm where time does not move?
I could see Henry get fed up with the fighting, steal a bean but Neal catches up to him as the portal opens. Parallel to the moment when Bae left Rumpel, Neal jumps in, but no one else in SB knows where they are, so it was not planned.“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. All they needed was for Snow or Charming to say, “That fairy dust is awesome fertiliser,” and I’d have been satisfied with that as an explanation. But they didn’t, and because I’ve been wondering since the moment they planted it how *(please avoid obscenities)* they were gonna get it to grow quicker than the usual century it takes, I’m afraid I’m gonna need an official explanation, or it will continue to bug me. We’re not talking about some insignificant time discrepancy here, it’s 100 freaking years.
I agree! Even though it is a show about magic and fairytales, it helps to suspend disbelief when the show avoids apparent and obvious inconsistencies.

Tamara won’t beat Rumple in a physical confrontation. However I can see her being sneaky and manipulative and using Neal against Rumple. if Tamara sets it up for Neal to walk in at the exact moment when it looks like Rumple is in the wrong, Rumple would be at a disadvantage. Who is Bae more likely to believe, his estranged father who has form for doing nasty things to people for poorly justified reasons or Tamara, his beloved fiancee?
I could see her trying to fan a rift between Rumpel and Neal if it suited her. I don’t think it would right now, because Neal is her cover. If she wants Rumpel to trust her, then being willing to cheat on his son probably would not make a good impression.
Anyway, I don’t think Tamara and Greg have everything planned out and are adapting on the fly. Greg must have seen August make a trip to and out of SB (before he returned when Emma was there) and they started following him. They used him to get the magic potion from the Dragon. When Tamara saw Neal, she decided to find out who he was. We know of course that August was going to vanish inside SB for awhile, so she probably decided at that point to start working her wiles on Neal, to give her an excuse in case August came back or something else happened to let them into SB.

That could work. The feather is red. This is maybe the feather that Rumple uses so often to get the contract with Cora and Cindarella let him sign with it to and this is maybe the reason, why Henry didn’t guss who Gold’s real self is.
That sounds very plausible. In the Cinderella episode, the red quill is something Blue Fairy enchanted so it wasn’t his normal quill that he used with Cora, so not sure why it is in his cap, but it is an illustration. Plus, the Imp in the pictures is also missing one shoe, which could be a nod to Cinderella.
I just rewatched that episode, and was surprised that Henry is staring at an illustration of what I think is Bailee Madison as Young Snow. That episode didn’t air until later in the season. It seems they usually are pretty deliberate about what they show out of that book, so if there was a clear shot of this little fellow, perhaps we’ll see the scene that it draws from soon. Well…aside from this silly weeks long break !

ParticipantLots of great ideas… soil, magic difference, cutting, shrinking in size (but would the beans produced be super tiny then? ). The writers could easily have written something in with a line of dialogue. It’s kind of a plot hole, that I think came about because the writers wanted a reason there were no extra beans back when Rumpel and Bae used one. If the giants (like dwarves) have always had this duty to grow beans, then why weren’t they doing it back then? So whatever explanation they choose for why the beans grow fast in SB, also could have been used to explain why the giants didn’t have more beans back then (soil was rotten, magic rules, didn’t have any cuttings so started from regular beans, giant beans take forever to grow…).

–Daylight: going back to Tamara. Anyone think it was interesting that when Tamara met August for the first time in Hong Kong it was a very dark room, yet the woman was wearing a face covering AND sunglasses?
–Mirrors: Tamara was using a mirror to spy on August but wasn’t looking directly into it, more off to the side.
–The Color Red: the Dragon was covered in red. Lots of red. And, dragons often breathe fire which repel a Wraith. Before the dragon attacked Tamara he began to blow out red smoke from his nose and she actually looked quite scared. Was Tamara wearing any red??Daylight didn’t bother her when she forced the “meet cute” with Neal with her coffee.
The use of the Mirror could be a clue, but it was also a low tech way to show her spying on August.
Tamara was shown at first in a dingy looking tan/brownish neutral. She looks far more stylish later on when she confronts the Dragon and in SB.I agree, the Dragon had a lot of red, and did seem to at first scare Tamara, as if she were not sure her taser would work. She has not been shown in red I think.
Ok. GO![/quote]

I gotta disagree–the episode made it clear that no one had free–when Regina goes to Mr.Gold, stating how unhappy she is–she tells him that everyone does what she wants because they have no choice.
She says that, but I thought she was simplifying the situation. It did appear like people could make some small choices within the basic lives given to them by the curse (clothes changing, slight variations on dialogue). That’s definitely not full free will, but I thought it was more than puppets that can only react when she directs. Billy and Granny for example, make choices about how to react to Kurt and Owen that initially do not match Regina’s unfriendly attitude. Granny offers a room, and Billy wants to leisurely do the repairs.
When Regina challenges anyone though, they do what she is asking them to do if it makes sense within the reality she created for them, because they believe her to be the Mayor. At least, that was how I took Mary Margret not fighting Regina about running into her. When Regina, who appears to be spoiling for an argument, says why don’t you fight back, Mary Margret just asks why would she, and walks away. I wasn’t sure that if Regina demanded Mary Margret to fight her right then, that Mary Margret would suddenly turn around and try to fight, despite having just said she had no reason to do that.
Could she have ordered everyone in town to drop what they were doing and attack Kurt and Owen zombie style? I kind of had the impression that her powers over everyone did not extend THAT far, so she had to use the heart to make Graham do something that was too far out of his character as arresting an innocent man. But it still makes the relationship with Graham icky, because he is not fully aware that his choices are so constrained, and the curse did create personalities a little or shift them. It’s a paper fine distinction I guess, but maybe it is what the writers were thinking to say what they did about the Graham & Regina relationship.“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would.
