But where are Mary Margaret and David getting there books? MM says to David in Skin Deep “Oh, you got the book”.

Actually, I don't think that will be the case since we're going to see a mini-Snow White in this episode. Bailee Madison was cast as a young Snow White, the Stable Boy — well, he's like in his twenties or something. So, I don't think the writers are going that route.
I agree that Snow is not a rival for “the Stable Boy’s” affections. I also do agree that Regina was forced into an arranged marriage to King Leopold (ala King George).
My theory is that Regina shares with Snow the secret that she is in love with a commoner, which as young children are prone to do, Snow (probably inadvertently) reveals the secret. I have a hunch that the commoner is killed by Regina’s mother because of this. Interestingly, this results in Regina only loving him more and spending the rest of her life trying to vindicate her loss somehow.
Ironically, this is the opposite of how King George tries to prevent James from running off with Snow (in episode 7:15) he threatens to kill James and NOT Snow because he says killing her would just make him love her more.
king arthurParticipantI thought the real father had already died as of The Shepherd episode.
king arthurParticipantWhat if he’s a “Jack Rabbit!”. 😉
king arthurParticipantThe sneak peeks for Red Handed do seem quite intense. Kind of reminded me of M. Night Shamylan’s movie The Village.
/spoilerish for The Village/
For those of you who have seen the movie The Village, after watching the Red Handed sneak peeks (esp #3), I’m now wondering if Granny is the wolf. We don’t know if the wolf is male or female. I don’t think Granny is purposely the wolf in secret since she is in SB and was on the War Council for Snow and Prince James. So I think Granny herself is a respectable person. But perhaps she is cursed and doesn’t know it. OK, I know this would mean Granny is like a werewolf, maybe corny, but still could be an interesting twist.
It could explain how in the fairytale as we know it, the wolf was dressed up as Granny. Again it could be Little Red Riding Hood, the real story and as the story was passed on was reinterpreted in its classic form.
Of course, Granny is still alive in Storybrook so if the above were true, then “The Wolf” may have been killed in a figurative sense in that the curse was lifted from Granny.
Likely this theory is far-fetched but just thought I’d throw it out there.
king arthurParticipantI think Robert Carlyle recently tweeted they actually had close to 60 minutes worth of Rumbelle scenes for Skin Deep. So I’m sure some of the problem was the story had to be edited to fit the time constraints.
Hope we’ll get the missing scenes in the Season DVD!

I did know about the name being because of the real world connection. I just wonder why in the show she picked that name. Like does Snow have a reason for picking that name.
Most royalty do have multiple names. Maybe Snow’s full name in FTL is Snow Mary Margaret White or something (at least for OUaT).

Actually,
The name “Mary Margaret” is from a real-life woman believed to be the inspiration of the Snow White character named “Maria Sophia Margaretha Catharina Freifräulein von Erthal” (born on June 15, 1729 in Germany.)That is so cool!

last thing I have is a comparison theory of Fairytale Land’s landscape (at least the part that was seen by Dreamy and Nova). Maybe it’s just overthinking, but what I immediately thought of when I saw the wide view with the winding river in the middle was the current opening logo of Disney movies used since 2006.
I thought this too when I saw the FTL firefly scene! 🙂
I don’t know how to make screen caps but one interesting thing I noticed during Dreamy (which I sent into Once podcast) was during Miner’s Day festival when Sydney was playing a carnival game. As Emma comes up to talk to him, you can see the carnival booth worker on the side wearing a purple cap. I’m pretty sure that is Dopey the Dwarf.
king arthurParticipantOK, I understand now, too. Thx
