Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
Wow, weedith. We literally posted almost the exact same thought at exactly the same time.

that is their price for dealing with magic all the time (i.e. neither dwarves nor fairies are permitted to fall in love, marry, or have a family). It’ll be interesting to find out where fairies come from and whether there are male fairies. The penalty for failing to serve the magic realm by granting wishes would be a fairy losing her wings. It’s not clear whether there would be a penalty for a dwarf failing to mine for diamonds.
Hmmm…interesting as EQ has been unsuccessful in achieving love and family. And Rumple can only have true love if he gives up his power.
Are they saying Rumple was sitting in the pub as well. Do we just not see him?
Wondering, since there are no female dwarves, are there also no male fairies?

I like your theory of the mine protecting Rumple from being affected by the curse.
.
I agree with you. I think Rumplestiltskin was trying to get captured on purpose. It is very suspicious how he questioned Cinderella abou the “lovely red quill”.
I think the tall man with the plump wife are Jack Sprat (who could eat no fat) and his wife (who could eat no thin).
I researched Belle talking to Dreamy/Grumpy a couple of times. She says she has had “her heart broken enough” to know…(about love, etc).
I think meaning that she was DEEPLY broken hearted (by Rumple), not that she had her heart broken numerous times.
And yes, she has on the blue dress that she got from Rumple.
RE: pumpkins
Trying to figure out the link with pumpkins. It seems like Emma is related to pumpkins somehow. There is the pumpkin pie reference when she was telling Henry about his dad. But during The Price of Gold, Henry suggests to Emma that they pick code names for each other for Operation Cobra. At the end of the episode, Emma suggests using “Pumpkin” for her code name “in honor of Cinderella”.
Henry actually shoots down this suggestion, stating he has another name in mind for Emma but says he doesn’t think she is ready for it yet.
So anyway, I’ve been mulling over why seems to really like pumpkins. Google for “swan and pumpkins” shows several pumpkin farms around the country named Swam Pumpkin farm. Or the thought of a swan shaped pumpkin pops in my head.
Probably I’m micro analyzing something that’s not even significant but just decided to post my thoughts.
