But SW must realize at some point b/c in one of the earlier episodes when Charming asks SW if she really did ruin EQ’s life, SW acknowledges that she did.

What is August is Pinocchio and Bae?? This just occured to be the other day. The Blue Fairy changed wooden puppet Pinocchio into a real boy and it appears that she also had something to do with Rumple losing Bae. I’m wondering if this another one of those situations where they have taken some liberties with the fairy tale and had the Blue Fairy take Bae and turn him into a wooden puppet and give him to Gepetto. If August is, in fact, Pinocchio then he could also be Bae.
I have thought the same thing but Bae was 12 or 13 when Rumple turned into the Dark One, and that happened hundreds of years ago. Even if Bae was under some sort of non aging spell, Pinocchio when we see him with Gepetto (at Snow/Charming’s war council), he is a rather young boy I would guess 5 or 6.
I have thought several times that Jiminy as a young boy looks quite similar to real boy Pinnocchio.
king arthurParticipantI believe there is going to be more of a twist to Cora being the miller’s daughter (as OUAT writers love to do). I am thinking that she is not the one who is requested to spin straw into gold but rather Regina.
Here is my theory:
Cora is a miller’s daughter and is married to Henry Sr. Henry is a respectable upper class nobleman but NOT a king. Cora wants desperately to have her daughter marry upwards in class (reason unknown). The local widower king (Leopold) has announced he is seeking a new wife. Cora sees the opportunity and promotes propaganda that her daughter can spin straw into gold. (So Regina is the “Miller’s granddaughter but it’s really Cora who takes on the role of the parent lying about her child’s talents in hopes of class advancement). The writers/producers have mentioned potential gender reversals of traditional fairytale characters, here the mother has replaced the “miller” father but still related to a miller.
Leopold requests Regina to demonstrate her talent, Cora’s figuring she can help Regina fake it with her magic. Somehow, a glitch comes in because Leopold locks Regina in isolation for the task and Cora is unable to get to her to help.
Rumplestiltskin appears to Regina because his magic is still more powerful and he can poof in. So Regina and Rumple make a few deals, including the first born deal. Rumple spins straw into gold. Leopold is impressed, proposes and marries Regina. Cora meanwhile is so proud of her daughter because not only has she married a King but she too has magical power (Cora thinks).Cora gives her daughter all her magic books in hopes that she will grow in her powers. Of course there’s still the Stable Boy true love of Regina’s. Young Snow does inadvertently reveal this forbidden love, leading Cora to “kill” the Stable Boy by changing him into an apple tree. (I do like the theory of Regina’s lost love being the cherished apple tree, a good while back I joked about this possibility but now it seems very likely.)
After that, Regina’s heart grows cold and evil and she does actually start to dabble in Black Magic, hoping to find a way to bring back her love or at least get out of her marriage.
There is still the promised firstborn to Rumple but perhaps EQ has still yet to become pregnant so we may or may not have gotten to that part of the Rumplestiltskin story yet.
Thanks for bearing with my rather long post.

I’d really like if Mr. Gold knows about Belle and is working to get her back. But there are a couple of things from previous episodes that would not fit. First, I don’t think Mr. Gold would have been so loco when beating up Mo French. He kept saying “She’s gone, she’s never coming back”. 🙁It’s possible Mr. Gold found out about Belle after that. I’m just not sure Regina would have offered that information up so easily. And if his deal would really get Belle back, Mr. Gold would probably damn well be sure MM would not have come back.
What I did think was interesting about the Mad Hatter episode is when EQ was getting ready to leave Wonderland with her Dad. She tells Jefferson that the Queen of Hearts took her father (the thing she loves most) to have leverage against her. This would be parallel to EQ/Regina taking Belle away from Rumple to gain leverage against him.
king arthurParticipantDavid being “Big Bad Wolf” I’d interesting theory. It would be nod to the comic book series Fables, which OUaT has been compared to a lot. In the Fables series, Snow White actually divorces Prince Charming and goes on to marry the Big Bad Wolf. Check out Wikipedia for more details on Fables.
king arthurParticipantIt is Roger Daltry from the WHO. He is lending his voice as the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland.
king arthurParticipantI think Rumple may be able to see the future to a certain extent. It may just be bits and pieces, not everything.
king arthurParticipantThe “True Love” potion and all of the Heart of Darkness episode occurs after Belle has been sent away by Rumple. In Dreamy, Belle meets Grumpy when he is still Dreamy. And Snow meets Grumpy later when he is truly Grumpy.
I still don’t think there is magic to make someone fall in love, even with Rumplestiltskin’s new potion. He doesn’t NEED to make Belle fall in love with him (as long as she remembers him) and I’m sure Rumple is still in love with Belle. I think the bottled True Love is to help break other curses, maybe even the Dark Curse. It still seems that although Rumple created the Dark Curse, he obviously needed the EQ to enact it. And yet all along he has been planning to ultimately break the curse eventually (which is why I think he repeatedly tells MM/SW that he has vested interest in her future).
king arthurParticipantThe arrow seemed to have hit higher up than where the heart would be. If it did hit anything vital would have been more likely part of the lung. But it is possible if it was just the tip hitting it could have just be a flesh wound.
king arthurParticipantEmma’s also in a skirt for a change!
