ParticipantSeems too close to ‘Once Upon a Tail’ to me, but maybe.

ParticipantIt seems like she had figured out how to control her wolf form at some point in Fairytale land. Just going mainly from the scene where Snow is trying to recuse Charming from King George’s castle. Red managed to scout (and eat someone) in wolf form and report back afterwards to Snow and company.
Maybe, instead of having more control, she’ll have less again and have to learn how to gain control again under this new magic?

ParticipantI could definitely see the Blue Fairy retaining memories – she did have to rush off before the curse was enacted for the fairy’s ‘final preparation’. My only real issue with this is the fact that the Blue Fairy was hit by the waves of true love and did seem to be effected/restored memory IMHO. But, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t a good actress or had been using a limited collection of memories in her behind the scene workings.

ParticipantHe did have the coolest cajun accent in True Blood. I was pretty bummed when I realized MRJ wasn’t cajun…it’s sad that during the whole reveal of his character, I was most upset that the accent wasn’t real for Rene or Michael.
😯 He’s not going to be in the next episode?? HOW LONG OF A WAIT DO WE HAVE???? I need at least a short cut scene of him for the next few episodes or I’m not responsible for the theories that may arise!

ParticipantHave thought before that Rumple had been tracking either Emma and/or Bae (who I will believe is the dad in my crazy-canon imagination until the show says otherwise) but then the creators came out that Rumple did not have his memories until he heard ‘Emma’ in the first episode. I’m getting from this that he wouldn’t be locating either Emma or Bae – or capable of leaving Storybrooke.
Based on the next episode promo – I'm gaging Rumple's reaction to Charming explaining what happened when Sneezy left Storybrooke as realization that he still won't be able to leave to find his son.
Totally with you that Henry is a loophole and the only baby that could enter Storybrooke because he’s Emma and Baelfire’s.

ParticipantI’m calling that Hook was ‘marked’ and cut off his own hand. That didn’t solve the issue, as Milha had to pay the price instead.

ParticipantHe definitely isn’t from Enchanted Forest. The idea of having a Horror Land has me thinking of Nightmare Before Christmas’ Halloweentown – so his ‘prince’ could be some version of Jack: the Pumpkin king.
I guess there was a movement that Whale could be some god from mythology – explaining the god complex/being creepy around mortal women…
But I like the Dr. Frankenstein theory better – has a strong basis and seems very exciting!
Off to look at the doors inside the hat again!

But even watching the episode thinking he’s Dr. Frankenstein, missed the connection of Dr. Whale leading the mob!
In the story of Frankenstein, Dr Frankenstein leads a town lynch mob to go and destroy the monster he created. In this episode Dr Whale leads a town lynch mob to go and kill Regina.
Oh, I got that part from your post. I just meant while watching the episode, I didn’t make the connection that Dr. Frankenstein was leading the mob. But I do remember that part of the story.
How is Regina not wanting to listen to him talk linked to Frankenstein? I’m not really making that connection. I guess I only assumed it was establishing that they are linked to each other and had past dealings…

ParticipantI think Mulan and Phillip were (sexually/romantically)together during the 28 year gap. It seems clear that through they were not transported to Storybrooke, they were still effected by the curse. Obviously, the not aging part. But what if they didn’t have their memories either – would explain why Phillip hasn’t managed to save Aurora in 28 years, he didn’t remember her.
Because of that, the Mulan/Phillip/Aurora triangle is a parallel to David/MaryMargarent/Katherine – which also got a lot of hate and was really annoying. As fans that grew up with these stories and already know that A+B = true love, I think that explains the whiplash to some extent. Like Abigail when Snow called her ‘the nag with the bad attitude’, fans were quick to accept that because it was getting in the way of what we knew needed to happen.
I don’t hate Mulan, I think she will grow on me when we see a more dimensional character. I’m not even sure if it’s the acting right now, or that Mulan is trying to come off as strong/emotionless to mask her discomfort in the situation.lilred
ParticipantHenry has to have some input because of all the fairytale pictures and clocks in his room – I’m surprised Regina actually allowed them.
