I still think Rapunzel maybe wish Hook daughter. but that confuses me because a wish realm now have wish people that are now real people who came from a wish who never existed before that moment of Emma’s wish coming true. So are we getting into some never ending stories quasi world where the moment a person imagines it or writes that world suddenly exist in another realm. Or we all simply stories of someone else imagination.

I think once the Wish Realm was created it became a real place along with all the characters and anyone else that resulted in an EF without the casting of the curse. I think it’s only possible because the wish was granted by a genie.
[adrotate group="5"]I’d say it’s pretty clear that that cemetery was magic-ed into Henry’s path to throw him off course because he’s starting to get close to Jacinda and Lucy.
Interesting! Maybe the curse automatically generated the graves when “it” sensed his belief growing. Yet, how? I thought there was no magic in ALWM? I sense a plot hole.
Maybe this curse is unstable for some reason. It must be a variation of the original dark curse because it didn’t bring them to Storybrook and so many characters are awake. So whatever the variants are, maybe one of them allows the curser to change things at whim to serve their purpose.
Is the rebellion against the royal family and Lady Tremaine just happens to be in with the royal family? Is that why the resistance is watching her? I don’t see why she would be of that big of importance otherwise.
I’m sure it was an accident. I doubt they’d make Ella and actual killer, especially since she couldn’t kill the prince and she truly hated him.
I definitely think it’s Mother Gothel in the tower. I originally thought that the appearance of Anastasia negated my theory that the other sister would be Rapunzel and Wish Realm Hook’s daughter, but I think it could still work. Anastasia’s face is covered for a reason. She will obviously be someone we know at some point in the past, just like they did to Cora as the Queen of Hearts. So she could still be Rapunzel and also Wish Realm Hook’s daughter. Victoria has Mother Gothel locked in the tower to try and bring her back because whatever lead to her death all goes back to Mother Gothel taking her in the first place. How Victoria, Mother Gothel, and Lucy (and possibly Rumple and Alice) are all awake in this new curse is still a question though. Especially, because I don’t think any of them cast the curse.
So, I didn’t like this episode so much, but maybe I just need more info so things will make sense later.

Our 3 Musketeers get together. Henry is just so terribly awkward and I love it.
Lucy’s blind optimism. She doesn’t have quite as much proof as Henry did originally, but I feel as though she’s getting through to Henry.
Really want Tiana’s backstory and how she became a member of the resistance. Also, I didn’t realize Lady Tremaine was powerful enough that there could be a resistance movement against her. Or is it mainly against the kingdom and she just happens to be one of the players on that side? Also, loving the whole resistance as that is part of the newer version of the Broadway musical.
I’m intrigued about Cinderella’s backstory and the whole Anastasia bit. I’m guessing my theory that the other step-sister was Rapunzel is not correct or that she is Wish Realm Hook’s daughter.

Nothing too exciting happened in the tunnel. But how did Lucy and Henry miss the coffin down there? Or was it buried off a different path? They jumped in immediately so I’m not understanding the logistics or timing of that whole plot.
Jacinda grew on me a little this episode, but Dania Ramirez’s acting is still horrible.
Is Regina the new Snow, because that’s what her speeches sound like I’m not sure I’m ready for that level of optimism from Regina yet.
Any one else catch a possible romantic vibe between Tiana and WR Hook?

For someone who claims power is better than magic, Lady Tremaine seems to a) be amassing quite a bit of it and b) using it quite often.
So, Lady Tremaine is awake and has, who I am assuming is Mother Gothel locked in her building in present day. How does Lady Tremaine keep getting the upper hand on these magically powerful people? I still don’t think she cast the curse as I can’t think of whose heart she’d use to cast it. Why she is awake is a mystery.
Something I just thought of: why doesn’t Henry recognize Rogers as looking exactly like Captain Hook from his book. There is definitely at least one picture of him in there (the Last Supper scene which we saw Lucy looking at the end of last season).
to be fair, the people in storybrooke never cared there were pictures of them in Henry’s book. Maybe the curse makes them incapable of recognizing the illustrations with the real world people
The pictures in Henry’s book didn’t have faces. Snow and Charming never had faces in there. I think that’s why Henry had trouble deciphering who everyone was. We have clearly seen the last supper picture in the book and Rogers and Henry had a very specific conversation about Emma’s picture, so it just seems odd.
All the hush-hush about Emma’s pregnancy could be explained by health concerns. The pregnancy isn’t far along, and Emma is getting into her forties. If there’s a problem with Emma and the baby, Hook would certainly want to protect both of them, and couples tend not to make the big announcement until they’re sure that they’re out of the early danger zone. I don’t think the show will use this explanation now that Emma is out of the picture, but it’s what I’d think if it happened in real life.
I agree. Miscarriages are more prevalent over 35, which Emma definitely is at this point, so portal traveling could have an effect on the fetus. The first 12 weeks are when the pregnancy is the most delicate.

This is so strange to me, because while I get that Wish Realm Hook’s memories are the same up until that point, none of that actually happened to him because he didn’t exist until The wish was made creating the realm and it’s inhabitants.
Yeah this is the big conundrum with the Wish Realm and how/when it was established. And actually those themes–what makes reality, our experiences or our memories even if those memories are false–would be seriously interesting to explore. Westworld is a prime example of how fantasy/scifi does that sort of naval gazing well. But OUAT is more like a bull in a china shop when it comes to compelling think pieces.
I’m thinking that once the Wish Realm was created it now a valid alternate realm that was basically wishes into existence. Otherwise Robin and the Evil Queen would not have been able to go there. Robin would have failed to exist and the Evil Queen would have been taken somewhere else. The Wish Realm is now another real place that was brought about by a wish and all the people in it are now real with real memories as well.
