ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
I thought it was odd too, the way Jefferson talked about Grace being able to find the mushrooms by smell. I never thought it meant she’s a werewolf, but now that you mention it, it is very possible. Or it could just be the writers messing with us. 🙂
I love the new timeline and also the way of dating things (Before Curse)!
hjbau, I can’t read the caption to the picture you posted (the caption in the book), but the picture looks to me like Snow and Charming on their wedding day. I could be wrong though; it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the pilot episode. 🙂
Thanks, Nonnie. You always have good links. 🙂
Great post, RumpleGoldFan! It’s everything I’ve been trying to say about Regina, said much better than I could. We all feel sorry for Rumple because he chose to send his love away yet don’t pity Regina who watched her love get murdered (and by her own mother)? My name is Lisa, and I, too, pity Regina (and Rumple, just to be clear).
Thank you very much for taking the time translate and post this variation, Mia! It’s definitely an interesting twist on the version we’re familiar with. Does the little poem that Winterkuberl says (not sings :)) rhyme in German?
I have no facts to add, I just wanted to say that this was a great idea for a thread!
I second this request. Some of us would rather be surprised as each plot twist unfolds during the episode. Thank you for writing this, weedith, and thank you to everyone else in advance for hiding all spoilers. 🙂
To answer the title question (unlike my previous post on this thread, sorry), yes, I do feel sorry for Regina. While listening to the podcast today, it hit me why Regina is apparently more angry at Snow than at her mother; she had trusted Snow. That is doubly sad, that her confidence was betrayed by someone she trusted (even if all of us understand Snow acted with the best of intentions) and that she didn’t trust her mother. Cora acted in much the same way she had Regina’s whole life by killing Daniel (not meaning to imply she’s a mass murderer, just that she was consistently evil), which is a huge reason why I feel sorry for Regina.
Sorry for all the parentheses.
Thank you for this! It’s great to know that the producers/writers took such care when naming the characters. Knowing all of the name meanings gives some more insight into what they were thinking when they created the characters.
