do you think the name Amon has anything to do with Amon-Ra, the Egyptian sun god?
Hmm…I never thought of that before. Right now I do not see how that would tie into anything, but this guy has to be some sort of god/spirit. What else could explain his power? On the original show, weren’t Gods were often animals?
When Amon supposably took bending away, it looked nothing like how Anng did it. Do you think it’s only temperary? Only the avater is suppose to have this ability anyways.
I loved what the four said in the podcast about how Gold may get custody over Henry during the Regina vs. Emma custody battle. It definetly would make it interesting if he was Henry’s grandfather. :geek:
Thanks so much for starting another type of thread where you put are individual thoughts up! We all apreciate it. So my burning question is why did Regina lock Belle up? We know she probably will use her against Rumpelstiltskin, but we do not know how or what moment Regina will be desperate enough to do so.
Aww I believe David does everything with at least good intent, even if it may not be the smartest way to act. Besides, once Emma finds out how heroic Charming is, all will be forgiven 😉 I am most excited to see Henery’s reaction to everyone remembering. The poor kids been doubted for so long, I just want him to get the chance to say ” haha told you so! I was right all along!” The bragging rights would never end.
Now you got me confused haha. But I understand what you are generally saying. There has been major confusion on how much magic is in SB. Here’s what we do know: Emma brought magic in. She caused time to move, she made Jefferson a magical hat. We have only seen Regina do her heart thing, no other type of magic. Like Gold said, she can’t turn anyone into a snail and step on them. So it appears her magic is limited. It looks like only Emma and Regina have power in the time being. Who knows what’s going on with the stranger, he’s a complete mystery. Maybe Emmas job as savoir was to bring magic in and what rumpelstiltskin meant by the ” final battle will begin” is that is will start a battle between himself and Regina? Also, maybe as the curse gets broken more magic is restored?
Mako also reminds of Zuko (but no one can replace his awesomeness) I appreciated seeing Zuko’s statue in the last episode. So my friend and I were talking, and we think Amon is an evil spirit that has escaped from the spirit world. Right now it’s the only explanation we could think of for his powers and the fact he has no face. We were not buying his farm story. I miss iroh too! I imagine him drinking tea and playing pai sho everyday until his last.
